These commentators really have low expectations of Yaya Sanogo. He runs into Agger and they act as if he's just scored a 30 yard volley.
I hate that.. Coutinho was tackeld but because he stayed on his feet, ref didn't bother to blow for a foul. Instead we then ended up losing the ball 2 seconds later. and that is why people fall to the ground theatrically, because if you stay on your feet you get **** all.
So how's that not a foul? Sterling get's infront of him, get's bundled to the ground and ref says play on. Then the ball goes off an Arsenal player for a corner and they give a goal kick If Sterling had bundled into the back of Jenkinson in that position it would have been a foul.
"He handles those types of situations well" I know how he could handle them even better, make the right decision in the first place. Its funny that the commentators said nothing about Webb being wrong, instead they decided to say Sterling was young and claim he was the one in the wrong.
To be fair, he shouldn't have put his hand on him. Other ref's have been a lot more power mad in those situations. But yes, had he got the decision right wouldn't have happened.
It was game over as soon as I saw Webb was ref. how he is classed as the best is beyond me. How Monreal is still on the pitch is a disgrace. Podzol ski not booked I could go on and on. Suarez needs to get more involved and we miss Henderson's energy.
Don't worry lads I just got back, missed the first half While I was out I predicted the home draw to Everton BTW Not surprised at all that Webb has apparently ****ed up almost every decision, but we will still win #goalsinthesecondhalf
Pod should be on a yellow, that Sterling one should have been a freekick or at least a corner and Sonogo's hand into Agger's face would have been a yellow if it was a forearm or elbow or later in the game. At least he was smart enough not to book Sterling... Oh well. No point saying how **** Webb is, we all know he is. All we can do is go out there and play better because we've not really hit into any stride yet. Sturridge hopefully won't need to regret those two early chances.
Let's be honest, we can talk about Webb but apart from the first 5 minutes when Sturridge should have scored either of his chances we've been pants. Not threatened their defence at all and created no chances.
Yep, we've not been 100% today. Missing Hendo. To be fair Arsenal are pressing better when we have the ball than they did last match.
Webb will be looking for any excuse to get sterling now might be best off subbing him although he is having a good game
