    Well it's obvious isn't it?

You're making ill informed judgments about half hearted wine guzzling supporters, you don't even know, so I'm doing the same with you.

    That's fair isn't it?

No because an away game that all inclusive is about 150 quid a time is slightly different to a 15 quid home match is it not? Surely you're not trying to suggest that the two are comparable???

You're trying to suggest you would spend £35 in the stadium on matchday??? Okay any ill feeling I had towards you is now gone, I just feel sorry for you..

Also before you throw it at me, I have already discounted anyone who doesn't leave in the immediate vicinity of the stadium.

my match day experience involves, meeting my pals, having a good half dozen pints at least prior, placing a bet, getting a taxi from club to sol (coz i have a gammy leg) face melting pie and a pint at half time, couple of pints after the match, maybe a burger walking over the bridge.

the day i go from home to the match and home is the day i may aswel have a wireless

Well that's all entirely your own choice isn't it? You don't have to place a bet, or down loads of pints. Use your brain man.

usually i have 2 pints before then one at half time, then 5 after, then usually clubbing although at the Sol last week i had, 5 before since it was £1.89 a pint at wetherspoons and was pretty sozzled, one at half time, one at this pub full of sunderland fans so that makes 7

This is an incredible quote. You don't go to the match to support your team, just for the banter with the lads. Wow.

Smug sorry to "jump in" thought it was a Forum, should have realised it was a platform for you to spout endless insults to people who dare to contribute.

No wonder most people read and don't post, looks like if you're not in your little clique you just get abused.

He didn't say 'just' though did he?

You're just scrambling around, on the Sunderland board on a Saturday night, desperately trying to prove summat or other ...... no idea what tbh.

Right. read all this now and want to give my two peeny worth.

I'm not looking for violins ar "there there". I consider myself a SAFC fan and wasn't there today. I can give my reasons - most high was the justification of £6.80 bus fare for me and my girl if we had gone - even if it had been free entry!

We were season ticket holders but cant be now. Hey ho. We can't afford even £15 each for a ticket. Hey ho.

I will not be called a plastic fan by those who did or didn't go today. I love my club and want us to be successful. We have spent money we don't have to be at the ground on the day of the League Cup Final - its all we can do to be part of it.

The club is at fault. Season ticket holders should have free entry to ALL home games. Tickets after that should be super-discounted.

**** all you arrogant, self-important, holier-than-thou people who are disgraced and embarrassed be today's crowd. Real people cannot afford the lifestyle you want us to live.

I want us to win the cup. I want us to win every game. According to some on here that is not enough

You're both floundering around in this because you really have no leg to stand on. Give it up as a bad job. Night fellas.

The inevitable response of someone who's totally ****ed up and is looking for the escape hatch <laugh>

I've seen it a million times on these forums and it's always, 'Bye, I won but I'm not staying around to answer any further questions' <doh>

    exactly

im 22, and turn 23 in the summer, my city season pass is going to rise by about £200 almost for next season so i probably can't afford it, id love to go to all way games but it's not practical for some including me

the lucky thing for me is i can get to our stadium for £1.50 and use the pubs around there and usually share a taxi elsewhere

football is expensive... heck should my club reach the finals of the fa cup

that's two trips to wembley, just horrific price wise

Paddock man, I'm not as bad as you think.

I'm a very decent bloke and a good supporter ..... don't forget that the things I post are sometimes tongue in cheek, sometimes Mag bait, sometimes to laugh at mesel and sometimes because people piss me off.

Don't take everything so ****ing seriously <ok>

Sad reality is he's right. You've been a member as long as me yet posted 100 odd times. And rarely about the match, most of the time looking for someone to have a pop at. So it's a good thing you can't be arsed
