    I don't understand why Champions League football is such a big deal. The whole bulk of the PL season is made up of loads of games. The Champions League adds an extra what, 5 to 10 games, depending on how far you get?

    I find it odd that a player would uproot and move clubs just to participate in those few extra games.

    I'd much rather stick with a club like us and try my hardest to get them to all the big competitions and help them to progress than move to a club that has success already programmed in. Where are the aspirations in there? Where are the feelings of self achievement and success? hollow, that's what it is.

    I want to commit adultery with Katherine Jenkins. If Jose gets his wish then I want mine.

    We're missing the obvious solution here. Loan him to Lille as part of the Gervinho deal, he'll get CL football then when we finish fourth next season he'll sign a new contact and play CL with us. Stranger things have happened.....well none that I can think of actually.

    Yes it matters, but it's only a few games per season, whereas the main Premier League consists of far more games and makes up MUCH more of a players career. I just don't see a few CL games per year as reason to join a completely different club and move to a different part of the country. Those few CL games aside, it's still mostly Premier league games, just with a different team.
