    Good to see you posting.

Yes I am pleased with the return from those 3 games. I thought at most we might get 3 points.

I saw the United game and we were good value for the win. I went to Southampton and again I thought we fully deserved the point. Unfortunately I did not get there on Wednesday owing to the weather but from what Crouchie said on MOTD and what I followed online I thought we did well to come away with a draw.

Next two games are tough. I hope upon hope that with Citeh playing Chelsea & Barcelona before facing us I hope they are jaded and we might sneak a point or else at least not take a beating! Arsenal, well I think we will be up to put that winning Whinger in his place!

Crazy i'll second that on the Huth front but we have done better than I expected as I thought we'd beat Swansea and lose the other two, hope fully we won't take a beating at Citeh and we may even get something out of the Arsenil game if we don't then lets hope results have gone our way elsewhere still confident that it won't be us going down.

I will look to see what odds I get on not being beaten in the next two games, more in hope than anything else.

In the Swansea game, quite a few people have said (on facebook etc) that we were lucky to get a point. If that's the case, it makes a change from the games of December when it seemed like we deserved a win but actually got nowt!

5 points from them three games; thank you very much

There was a poll on F/book guys question.. how many pts from those 3 games.
I said 4 would be brilliant, to get 5 was a massive bonus.

Well having watched them against Man Utd and Southampton missing Swansea because of the weather I would have taken 3 points. Thought they played really well against both Man Utd and Southampton I am not overly concerned. However I expect a point this weekend and then to continue building up points at Norwich before slamming a few past West Ham.

Not exactly Cris...perhaps the best of a bad bunch though.

    Not being negative...but realistic.

Wish things were different, to continue from Hamlet...'perchance to dream'

Yes I would tend to agree that we are probably better than most of those around us. However that does not give us the god given right to expect to expect to win games coming up against Norwich West Ham Hull etc!

Hamlet is a bit heavy for me!

    Agreed Cris.

Thing is with Shakespeare there is always an appropriate quote for 21st century situations.

Take my 'persona' as an example...going from bard to worse.

    Have a good day Cris

I think this season was more about surviving with the change of tactics but mostly the same players, we need to get rid of some players and get more in with hopefully a strong work ethic.

Nicky, typical I can't think of a single playing the fool quote to save my skin. <whistle>

The problem for me was that I had Shakespeare, Opera shoved down my throat as a youngster so I rebelled. I remember mercifully being allowed to go back to the car and wait there. I think there was Henry IV part one on at the Old Vic in The Cut at Waterloo

I got back to the car just as Sports Report came on and Alexander Gordon was reading the results! Stoke City 4 Sheffield Wednesday 4 was the score on the day. I think it was probably 1965 season! But so pleased to catch up with the footie!

I never had anything like that as a nipper but picked old Bill up for something to read on detachment in the Falklands in 83, swapped between Bill and Dickens for 6 months, came back a complete party animal.
