I want a full strength team for this one, rest players against Bayern if we have to. Unfortunately I suspect Wenger will do the opposite
Question is... does playing a 'full' strength team mean playing Giroud up front? What AW needs to do is get on Football Manager, search or any player with pace and acceleration above 16 and sign them up. Transfer tactic goldmine.
Are you guys looking forward to this game, or more focused on midweek? I suppose it's not ideal to be playing late Sunday, in terms of fitness. Hope it's an entertaining game and I expect a backlash from your lot from two poor performances and results, can only see you winning. I think we would all agree, no one wants a replay.
very good that flamini is back. he'll be needed to stop coutinho cutting inside and suarez running at our defence.
I can't see us winning this one. We're not very good away from home at the moment and I think your lot will want to get a result after the last game. the only conflict is your busy schedule against ours which could swig things our way. The last thing either of us want is a replay, I can see you taking this 2-1
Not really. He scored a massive goal against Cardiff, but sadly got injured while scoring that goal. It was a shame, because he could have kicked on after that goal, but did not get the chance.
Looks like Santi is fine. Trained today. http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/51249/training-gallery please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
I'm really interested to see if we go for backup players or a strong team. Sanogo has been out injured for ages so not sure it's the best game for him to return in. But with our congested fixture list we probably do need to rotate for this game.
Full team or not, I think we'll struggle in this game. AW will probably have his sights on the midweek game. Liverpool appear to be buzzing at the moment have almost a fully fit squad to pick from, hope he plays Jones in goal today though..... I doubt he will sadly .
