Let's be real. We all know Saturday was a freak result and really our two teams are about on par with each other. Will be a tough game but I think we'll pull through.
You may think that the result at Anfield was a freak but I doubt that any but Arsenal supporters would agree. The margin of victory was higher than expected but not the result itself.
Freak result?? so pretend like it never happened? You're Defense got a walloping second time this season. When the best attacking unit in the league put 6 past you lot, hardly surprising when the 2nd best managed 5. Your defense is nowhere near as good as you lot think it is. But if you managed to get results against the lesser sides, as you've done throughout the season. You stand a chance.
I guessed randomly at 5. sunderland, stoke, swansea and then i've just jynxed us as long as they hammer tottenham and everton.
No it wasn't a freak result. Liverpool are clearly '5-1' better than us. Southampton are clearly '1-0' better than Liverpool and we're clearly '2-0' better than Southampton. Which makes us 16.3 times better than the square root of Liverpool's ability.
I think that's being generous to us TBH. Arsenal have a better defence and midfield, we have the better attack. Of course, goals win matches so having a good attack is more important than the other areas but still, you guys are above us for a reason.
