Both. I suspect in the end- the boost it gives will balance out with the stress from extra games. I can take or leave the cup right now. If we win I will be exstatic. If we lose... ah well... I'm more focused on getting back in Europe this year. That's our real goal. Then once back in Europe let's start winning all the silverware again.
At this point it feels like a free game. Great if we win but mainly I get to watch Liverpool without having a heart attack every time we lose possession. Maybe the players will also find it useful to play games that don't have the maximum level of pressure on them
The only explanation I've seen given is that you're behind us because you had to play Chelsea and City one after each other. Flawless logic there... you're right... Liverpool would probably still be top if they were the only team that didn't have to play the two best teams in the league
This should help you understand. Every city supporter I spoke to said we deserved the three points, which....... ......= us ahead of you on goal difference. QED
Half our team in three substitutions? So we'll take off Suarez, Studge, and Sterling then? Two others players, and Cissoko, will take a nap on the field- to make it half the team resting?
They can just sit down in the centre circle and force Arsenal to keep a couple of players in their own half in case we play a long ball for them to chase
Let's be honest, Arsenal are now a complete irrelevance. It's our decision how we wish to approach this cup tie and they will just have to cope with the result of Rodgers decision. They can't beat mid-table sides at home yet still believe they are a quality side.
