I would love Clyne at Sunderland in the summer, if Chambers keeps progressing as he has I cant see anyway back into Saint's team for him.

I think £6m would do it, nice tidy profit for the Saints too or we could swap Altidore for him? ;)

Back onto the match, we seem to have become a bit of a bogey team for you guys last and this season, another early start for your away fans too.

Danny, No you can't have Clyne for £6M and don't ask again as a refusal often offends?
To be honest at the start of the season I thought he was probably our best player until injuries took over. We do seem to have 2 very, very good players fighting for one position.

I feel really bad for Clyne, he's a great player and deserves to start, but so does Chambers. Send Chambers on loan and use Cork as our backup fullback? This would show that Wanyama and Cork CAN play in the same team!

I think Clyne will start after not starting against Hull. I may be wrong but Poch has been rotating them over the past few weeks.

Why on earth would you want to send one of the best performing full backs in the premier league out on loan?

So both he and Clyne get games. Clyne will probably go if he gets dropped.

clyne has had plenty of game time, we'd be down to 2 senior fullbacks, and with shaw's track record, that won't end well

Let's hope for injuries then! I just rate Clyne higher and Chambers has been good, but he's still young and it may be best to introduce him gradually otherwise he'll get Luke Shaw's injury record.

Not as many as we would have liked, some haven't recovered from the trip to Hull yet! Those that do make it will be noisy enough I expect.

Reckon this might be an appropriate game to bring in big Vic for Davis and see how or if that works. As for the amount of fans we take, we'll do well to bring 500

With it being a 12.45 kick off I would of thought your club may have put on free buses or something. the crowd will be under 20,000 I say like.

Apart from the never ending Cork/Vic debate, right back is virtually the only position where we actually have good cover/competition. So no, let's not sell either of them.

Without bothering to find the debate which provoked your post, am I to assume some members are suggesting that because Saints have two excellent players vying for one position we must sell one of them..?

What happened to two good players for every position..?

This'll fox them - What happens when a key player gets injured and you've sold his competition..? Come on Homers..! ;)
