According to the Racing Post, Forced Family Fun isn't going for the Fred Winter and has a Triumph Hurdle entry - "FORCED FAMILY FUN (nap) has on the face of it been hit quite hard for his Doncaster handicap win but there was a lot to like in the style of that victory and this Triumph Hurdle entry looks the one to side with again." I'm on this today too. Won fairly comfortably last time out, on similar ground than todays. Single, and doubling up with Fozy Moss in the first at Mussleburgh too.
He has a Triumph entry but he may also get a Fred Winter entry when they come out - many horses have multiple entries at the Festival (especially if trained by Willie Mullins )

Yeah right, he wouldn't get into the Fred Winter without a further hike in the weights. I think someone doth protest too much and hopes his mark doesn't get too high if he wins today!
actually scrap that, the quote is just from the RP tipster isn't it. I would rather go with the word of the trainer!!
I can confirm that Long Run will, as always, be ridden by the Corinthian jockey, Mr Waley-Cohen. Sporting Life are forecasting 4âs on. Incidentally, Mr Henderson has another eyecatching entry up at Kellers tomorrow. Lady of Provence, what a lovely name for a mare by the way, in the âlucky lastâ (4.55). Disappointing first time up but the Geraghty lad goes âoooooooooooopâ there for just the one ride on Mr Ponsonbyâs mare. Cor blimey thatâs some raiding party, Mssrs Henderson, the Waley-Cohenâs and Mr Ponsonby all in the same âboatâ!
I wasn't aware the decs weren't out for the Fred Winter, is that because it's a handicap? The yard definitely prefer to run their 2m juveniles in the Triumph as opposed to the Fred Winter, I think they've had one Fred Winter runner in the last 5 years versus 5 or 6, possibly 7 in the Triumph so it wouldn't suprise me if he turned up there. It may be that this year they have such a hand of Juveniles 2 milers that they'll have to split them across the two races. They certainly seem to excell with those sort of types so it wouldn't surpise me to see a couple of entries in both.
That's right mate - none of the handicap declarations are out yet - I think the initial declarations are sometime over the next couple of weeks. There is a schedule somewhere (which I can't find).
Oh, how posting the Bismarck has got me remembering the world famous "Arkles Aardvark" I used to be funny back then!
‘Arkles Aardvarks’. Cor blimey that brings back memories! 10/11 is huge given how on official figures the 'black aeroplane' has 19 pounds in hand on his main rival and a rival who is 0/2 at the course.
Sheikh Mohammed exonerated by his own internal review in the doping scandal at Godolphin. Well, you can't say fairer than that. http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/news/article/465/9162923/godolphin-release-review-findings
Well thank goodness for that, I was really worried that Sheik Mo may have been implicated in some way by the good Lord.
