<peacedove>Sometime referees and officials missed fouls or gave fouls that should not be given, such decisions affect the game.
For an example, Liverpool penalty against Villa some people said it was soft, Liverpool got a draw.
Etoo fouled Suarez and should have been sent off. Chelsea won.
Sterling perfect goal against Man City was ruled out for offside, City won.
Top four teams who is the luckiest?

    Chelsea
    Manchester City
    Arsenal
    Liverpool

I would go City then Chelsea then us then Arsenal. The only lucky things I can think for Arsenal were a couple of free kicks not allowed to be taken quickly against them. We have had a few penalty decisions in our favour especially the Stoke one where Sterling handled the ball and went down softly.

  6. We've also been very unlucky too, especially injuries.

True the old saying it evens itself out over the season probably applys this year for us. We seem to have been lucky when we havent needed it (possible exception Villa game) and unlucky when we needed it ie against City and Chelsea.

I'm not voting on this one and I'm changing the nature of the criteria to answer the question:

It has to be Liverpool because we have the best squad and manager than we've had for a long time. Plus they are supported by all of us!! <ok>

Hard choice, between city and the chavs. Went with City though, our legit goal ruled out for offside against them, Tiote's legit goal ruled out for some **** and they got a dodgy penalty against Tottenham. Yaya also avoids getting banned after kicking out at Vanwolfswinkel also but that's more too do with the FA ****ing up, still ****ing lucky though.

Luckiest team this season so far, in top half, is imo Tottenham. They've had ref decisions early in the season which have kept them in the hunt for top four. They've also not played particularly well and yet as I've said they're still there or thereabouts. Couldn't call it for the current top four. We've all had spells of luck. All very subjective, though.

    • Deflected goal to get a point against Fulham
    • Double deflected goal to take the lead against Cardiff
    • Rafael not sent off for two footed lunge against Chelsea
    • About 5 ricochets to give Welbeck a tap in against to beat Norwich
    • Own goal to beat Hull
    • Deflection and penalty for Rooney brace (who should have already been banned) to get a point against Spurs (2-2)
    • No red card for Rooney's assault against Mutch (Cardiff). Then scores a deflected goal and gets an assist to earn a point.
    • Deflected equaliser in 3-2 win against Stoke
    • Own goal against Real Sociedad
    • Massively offside goal against Leverkusen
    • Penalty and red card for a foul outside the area to take the lead against Palace

I couldn't agree more. They would be out of the top four race if it was not for some shocking pen decisions going their way and Soldados goal record would be even funnier.

I don't think injuries always means bad luck. Partially perhaps- but if a team are pushing themselves (as we are) they pick up more injuries. Less top squad to rotate through (us) you get more injuries. Also, bad training technique and preparation can cause more injuries... I hope that doesn't apply to us.

I think the thinness of our squad and our energetic- probing style is going to make us pick up more injuries than most teams.
