Anyone else think all this talk of mind games is a load of old pony. A manager talks a load of boring old nonsense about another manager or team and the media start w**king off about it and label it as 'mind games'. Take the Mourinho comments about Pellegrini not being good at maths. f**k me , how clever is that? Such subterfuge can only be admired. If someone at work said someone else had said I was **** at maths and the team I supervise was a Jaguar with an L plate on I'd think they were mental and that would be that. Mourinho is constantly making a **** of himself with the ****e he spouts about not being bothered about winning the title and that that Chelsea aren't good enough anyway and no one in the media has the balls to tell him to stop talking like a prize clown-shoe. Bummers get onto it. Mind games my ring piece.
I think it's more prodding to get a reaction rather than trying to influence them. You know if you get a reaction that they're feeling the pressure and that can give you a boost compared to if they look cool calm and collected in their position. It's obviously not going to put them under pressure of it's own accord.
Michael: I got one them Thai brides, but she didn't like Newcastle and she couldn't fit in with the culture Alan: So what she moved back home? Michael: No she moved to Sunderland

Mind Games is my favourite John Lennon solo song. Contrary to popular opinion - and the fact a mentalist murdered him so you cant say owt bad about him - his solo stuff is 99% turd. FACT.
