Only years later I realise how lucky I was to be right into it that time, Rangers had a class team and so did we, it really mattered then and both teams were far from disgraced in Europe.

When Rangers get back we should both go out and spend 50 million again, enjoy a couple of good years battling each other and trying to compete in Europe, run the clubs into the ground financially then pack it up and call it a day because how we are operating just now is unbecoming of the two Glasgow giants, its depressing.

Sack Lennon, sack Lawwell. Use the money saved to pay a living wage and the remainder to offer contracts to our best players that don't equate to wage reductions.

I'll pick the ****ing team from behind my ****ing keyboard and we'll still canter the league. We'd still beat Cliftonville and any ****ing team with mo Bangura in it, and 100% we'd kick **** out off bunch of Kazakh goat ****ing herders.

I could probably get us pumped by Barca too.... But I'd draw the line at getting pumped off the lead singer of Ah-Ha. That would only happen to a complete ****.

Do you think popcorn teeth will win one of these before the Queens 11 get back?
He better get a move on before he starts losing his legendary status!!!
I see Hartson was quoting him in the same breath as Jock Stein last week FFS!!!

Another bear comes out of hibernation. How is that cost cutting coming? Mccoist gave his wages back yet.

Not for me, but they are so hard to get, even more so nowadays!

Title is priority, then CL group stages, then doing as best as we van in CL and then the cup competitons.

For alot of the players im sure some of their hunger left as we fell out the CL, thats why the transfer window and squad rotation should be so important, keep players on their toes, look at who can make an impact next season etc.

Cup games, teams like Aberdeen have nothing to lose, they are a good side and were better side on the day. Its a shame that in the league so many teams would be happy with a point and sit back for the draw. Be great for other teams to see what Aberdeen did and try the same

MON, Strachan and Lennon all spent roughly the same money, we always let them splash abit of cash and then slowly make them sell to buy.

Big difference is that MON was a bigger name than Lennon when taking over and was able to have a bigger say on transfers, Lennon feeds off handouts!

MON may have spent £6m here, £4m there, and had a strong 14/5 and topped that up with freebies and kids.. Be interested to see what Lennon would have done with that power, sure we wouldn't have many of the players we signed in last 12 months.

If Lennon leaves, he leaves the next manager an easier job than MON or Strachan left their predecessors as we have some fine young players, experienced in European football. Both MON and Strachan left with ageing squads that needed transforming.

    Trebles are hard to get!!!
Without your biggest rivals in the league, both cup exits were at home FFS!
Are Celtic fans honestly so deluded?
Lenny will probably win 7 or 8 in a row and leave Parkhead considered a club legend
and you lemmings will lap it up never realising how much he has under achieved!!!

That is exactly my point, totally deluded, you think winning the league without any credible competition is an achievement
