This morning we've been drawn at home to play Cardiff City in the first round of the Carling Cup. I think this is a good draw for us against a very decent side. Hopefully there will be a large crowd and the possibility of it being shown live on SKY
Why out of all the teams would they want to put this game on sky, get real there are better ties than you lot in a poxy ground as well.
Richmondoufc: Yes, it's very good draw for us! We will deffo get bumper crowd... Live on Sky, it will be bonus for us again but i doubt it cos other great draws like Leeds Utd v Bradford City, Forest v County, possible Crystal Palace v Crawley Town / AFC Dons, West Ham Utd v Aldershot or even pick those poor draws, who knows?! Looking forward to 2011/12 fixtures tomorrow 9am: First team to look out: No prize for guess who! Hope we get away to plymouth or torquay for first game mean Sun, Sea, Staduim (who need sex when we got football season back!) In Yellows We Trust!
Hello Wolfy, great to see another yellow recruit to the site Can't wait for the fixtures either, shame we have to wait nearly 2 months for the first meaningful match
A really good draw for us, will most definitely test the new squad to their limit. My first reaction was that we could have a bumper crowd with Cardiff bringing big support. But after seeing that they only pulled 6000 into their home tie in the first round last year, I reckon we are looking at about 6000 at the Kassam, including maybe a thousand from Cardiff....lets hope they don't cause trouble. Certainly a good fixture for August.
Morning guys Looking forward to this one. I haven't been to the Kassam before so it's always good to 'tick off' another one - so to speak. I've no idea how this will go. No offence but I don't have any knowledge regarding your squad and I definately don't know what sort of a team we'll be bringing. Dillbert100: With Oxford not being that far away and given its the start of a new season, I would estimate maybe 6-800 bluebirds but equally it could be slightly more or less. With all the new manager, new player stuff going on at the moment, there hasn't been much talk about any games as yet so it's too early to say for sure all the best U's H
Hi Rocky, how's it going up there in league 1? Wycombe have an interesting tie against Colchester, you don't seem to like them very much - what's that all about?
