If it's true that we have 'the lowest commercial revenue in the league, lowest match day revenue in the league' it's clear we `(the club and fans) need to address this.

This is not a name change/Allams/CTWD related thread- simply that we now seem to have a squad of players who are capable of anchoring us firmly as mid table Premier League (we looked good all over the pitch yesterday winning at a team where we have traditionally not even drawn).

What more will it take (ffs) to fill the stadium to overflowing each game?

What can be done to increase match day revenue?

There are plenty of clubs who have a similar demographic to us (Stoke, WBA, Swansea, Cardiff, Soton, Palace)- surely we can lear from them how to generate match day revenue and increase our commercial revenue?

Buy more half 'n half scarves and get Huddlestone's name on your shirt.

I'll come at this from two completely different angles. We should....

A: Change the name of our club to Hull Tigers, the asians like tigers, so they'd spend millions on Hull tiger oven gloves and that.

B: Don't change the name, then existing fans would return to buying the Hull city oven gloves.

The only business family round here that have serious money is the Healy's and frankly, they don't give a toss about Hull City or anybody else as far as I know.
They look after themselves and don't need the hero to zero **** that would end up on there doorstep after a few years.
As for the others, they won't go near the club all the time old man allam is holding the reins.

Maybe not a local sponsor/investor putting in millions but new or existing sponsors increasing their imput.

The Council too need to grasp the chance they have to contribute (even if only for selfish reasons). However smug they may be feeling about AA, they need to see the long game....that we are effectively on the world stage not just in Gerraghtyville. That means being proactive, inventive and positive. Alien concepts for them I know but carpe diem.

The biggest problem with the council getting involved with the club in any shape or form is ****ing Assem Allam.
There is no way on earth would old camel toe get into bed with them after the alleged bollocks with Terry Geraghty.
We must remember that he knows everything there is about making money.
    Just look at his cv.

Yes, Allam would be cutting his nose off to spite his face but do you think it would even register with him ?
Nah, the sooner the old **** ****s off the better imo because every time he opens his mouth, he drives potential investors away.

There is a perfect opportunity to raise City's profile in 2017.....

Hull - City of Culture. Hull City playing a part in the celebration of the city.

But will it happen? Over AA's dead body!

    (Now - there's an idea......)

Hopefully next season we will have a shirt sponsor fans will be proud to be associated with. Use the tiger connection to get "Esso" or "Kelloggs" on the shirts. Not another pay day loan company.

I know loads of people myself included who will not wear anything with "Cash Converters" on.

The idea that people NEED to put more of their money into the £multi-million football machine is kind of weird.

Sure, like every other City fan, I want us to be successful. But requesting that people put amounts of money which are incredibly significant to them, which will maybe make up a small portion of the weekly wage of a player on the bench...

Focus on corporate stuff. Let them waste their obscene wealth on each other.

Jesus H Christ, people are really blaming Dr Allam for the ****ers on HCC?

No wonder you fall for the CTWD bullshit if you think Dr Allam is to blame for them. Explains how they've stayed in power too if you seriously think like that.

At least some of you are starting to grasp why something radical needs to be done, local businesses and fans aren't interested, other than the ones already onboard.

Unless you think a nice heart tugging emotional youtube or powerpoint presentation from CTWD would swing them in to us?

If we have 15-20,000 'customers'- we need to shake the extra 5-10,000 lukewarm types who somehow are not buying into it.

You go into the SAFC clubshop yesterday and they sell t shirts commemorating a victory 7 days earlier against NUFC.

Did we bring out anything after our victory against Liverpool?

Was it the case that we thought about it but remained undecided on which t shirt design/car sticker etc to produce, or was it the case that no one even thought about it?

How about a nice Hull City 'Tour of of the North East 2013/2014' t shirt to celebrate our feats this season?

And if we really must talk half and half scarves, surely the club can produce something similar for the rubbernecker dimbo fan?

Your earlier post was ok, this one...I can;t work out if you're just taking the piss.

SUFC v NUFC means something to them, its personal, whereas as us v Liverpool was nothing like that. Unless you consider Liverpool as our oldest enemy and biggest rival of course.

Selling a few scarves won't help us, we need MAJOR investment/income.
