Today for me was that one game in a season that is just plain awful. We got off to a horrible start and it never got better. Fair play to Hull they played really well even if it was against 10 but they still had to put us away. Both goals had an element of luck about them with the two headers coming from a miss hit shot and a deflected shot but I don't think anyone could begrudge Hull the 3 points today. We still have to play West Ham, West Brom, Cardiff, Swansea and Palace at home and Norwich away so we still have chances to pick up enough points to stay up. Secretly everyone was getting bored with us seemingly coasting to safety anyway and this little blip has put the cat amongst the pidgeons. I still have faith there are at least 3 worse teams than us and we will be safe.
Brown getting sent off and banned for 2 games isn't actually too bad, we are expected to lose our next 2 league games anyway and it will keep him fit for the cup final.
There are definitely 3 worse teams than both of us. I think we'll both be very close to each other when the season ends, filling two of the places between 12th and 16th.
You wasn't there pal. Hull should of won about 6-0. I can't believe how bad poyet was today. tactics today were a joke to. it should of been 4-4-1 not 4-3-1-1.
After today's game,I'd prefer to coast to safety...we are back among the cra* again...how about a point at city on Wednesday to calm the nerves???
Norwich went to City today and got a point so who is to say we cant do the same. Also on a positive note one of Brown's suspended games is the Southampton cup game so he only misses one league game.
It was on the cards. Everybody on an up and thinking we are over the hurdle. The hurdle is not until the end of May. Well done to Hull. We have to pick our selves up and move on.
Ah right I dunno why I thought otherwise. Still kept them out for 90 mins though and city don't have aguero.
It happens.. Aye certainly does, but why? Taking nothing away from Hull, they came, they saw, they kicked our arses, but we also shot ourselves in the foot. Sending of so early, a rash tackle by Brown, but did he have any other choice after being put in that position by a ****y pass by Bardo? Just been reading that Brown has never recieved a straight red card before he turned up at SAFC, and he's played a lot of games. But the red card, no one can have any complaints about that, bad day at the office all round. Oh well, next. please log in to view this image
