I agree. We should never forget what Laudrup did for the club though.

We must trust the board, they have got us this far after all.

Stoke away will be a big test of character.

I agree. He even went and said West Ham parked the bus but I distinctly remember Swans fans moaning how bad we were and how West Ham dominated us, we even failed to get a single shot on target. And obviously they must be right that less than a week makes a difference, Palace and Sunderland either don't exist or didn't change managers!!!!

I actually love Nathan Dyer.. not gay or anything but the guy is our most underrated and best player by a long shot.

Agree with that Pagan, the guy is top draw!!! He picked off the Cardiff defence a treat today, and they never caught him. ;)

Magnificent win today but couldn't enjoy the first half as there was so much at stake - nearly fell over the row in front of me when the first goal went in, but still couldn't relax until the third. Had to stay in my seat for a full ten minutes after the final whistle and still have a sore throat from all the screaming! But the fans and the team were as one today, with each group feeding off the other - haven't experienced an atmosphere like that since the play off semi against Forest!

Seems Monk has brought back the passion and really hope we can push on against Stoke in midweek.

Funny seeing as we had 5 on target. Now parking the bus and counter attacking can be two and the same, just because a team can break quickly and create chances does not mean they didnt park the bus, and from what I remember we were up against a team who parked the bus, but had a very good counter attack setup, and lumped balls forward.

And before you get your knickers in a twist, we are discussing home games, hence my response including all home games. The west ham game you refer to where we had 0 shots on target, was away. The game I am referring to was home, so please, keep up ;) Unless of course you remember Joe Cole playing against us at the Boleyn Ground, which I am pretty sure he did not ;)

Am not raining on anyone's parade, I have already said that I am happy for Monk, winning his first game in charge, but I am not one putting added pressure on the bloke by making out that he has turned our fortunes around in 4 days. I am willing to accept that it is going to take time. It will take weeks of fitness training to get back to what we think is a good standard, it will take week sof passing training to get back to what we feel is standard, and weeks of closing down training to get back to our usual standard, as I am not so stupid to realise they have dropped, but I am not stupid enought o think they had dropped to a low enough level that Laudrup was taking us down either, I accept that we had a tough run of injuries and games, and it just didn't work in our favour.

But those claiming that today's result is all about Monk fixing what was supposedly broke is laughable, and ignorant to what ML brought to us as a club. Hence my position on the matter.

Your not exactly jumping for joy at not only Monk's 1st match in charge & win, but it also happened to be the South Wales derby, the match to stop them getting the 1st ever double, an important 3 pts, we've climbed to 10th & the most important thing, the fact that the players' did nothing else but display, they were now all in it together...
