This (except the tuna). We did 4 nights in Havana and there's loads to do. Saw Beuna Vista Social Club play in the Museum of Rum (yup Rum Museum) for a bunch of 80 yr olds they're bloody brilliant, quite a few good bars with live music (as long as you like salsa, the Missus likes that sort of thing), Cigar factory well worth a look round. Then did 10 nights in Varadero, as OT said 2 hr coach ride from Havana and a great place to relax on the beach/drink mojitos etc. Did a few things there, scuba, snorkling, dolphins. Also did a coach trip to Santa Clara (Che Guevarra's tomb & museum etc), Trinidad & Cienfugos, lots to see but about 14 hrs in total. Well recommend it. Bring back loads of cigars and flog them over here, I made a fortune.

The Cayos are quite popular too and a bit cheaper to get to than Varadero. They are however very very secluded, like a Caribbean Maldives. Christ this is turning into the Judith Chalmers forum!!!

I was told Cayos was VERY secluded, nothing else apart from the hotels for miles, Varadero at least has a town nearby.

That's all for this week on the Holiday Programme, next week I'll be in Sunderland trying to find the quickest way out & John Barrowman will be doing a special report on where to find the best Thai Ladyboys.

Its a good laugh. The one we went to was on the southern tip of Varaderro and it carried on until about 6am. Generally for the tourists as the locals are out priced from most things.

There's several caves near Varadero that have clubs and Restaurants built into them, could be those, didn't go myself.
