As you probably fade away , who could blame you , I just want to say what a fantastic addition you guys have been while Michael was with us . Be nice if you stuck around but I have my doubts . Very classy bunch , just like our ex manager . All the best if you fall off not 606 , your imput will be sorely missed , cheers

I have noticed that all the ones on Planet Swans have also all turned against the club.

Let's face it they're not even football fans let alone Swansea fans - they're just groupies.

And if they're not pubescent girls that's very embarrassing.

The only reason you have for saying Michael Laudrup was classy is how he conducted himself on TV. If the stories about his lack of training etiquette and being absent without warning (and they seem to be coming from a multitude of sources now) are true, that shows a less than classy persona.

When Garry Monk was asked by a Danish reporter in the Press Conference whether thought Michael should have been doing more fitness with the team, he didn't say yes or no. He said, all managers do things differently.
For me, this implies he doesn't want to slate the outgoing manager, but he couldn't deny the insinuation of the question.
That's classy. And no. I'm not a Garry monk sycophant. Just pointing out class is what we've decided to make it on the basis of tiny snippets of TV interview.

Mikra has been great here - hell he's even been to 2 matches. Don't see any need to sour relationships with the Danish guys.......

A lot of "if the stories" about Laudrup are true making the rounds Shaper, and there has been many reasons over the last year and and a half for the "classy " tag .And there are a lot of swans that aren't from Denmark who feel the way they do. Gave ya some rep points there for not having a go at mods or plugging a site norway , well done

Laudrup always conducted himself accordingly and was a true gentleman. Just because a few stories are doing the rounds - which is always expected in these situations - it will not change my opinion of him.
I hope the Danes keep posting on here, they will be a great loss to the board.

I do understand your point of view. I will hardly be able to contribute the same way as I've been used to. As Daniel put it the other day, Swansea will soon be a faded memory in the Danish media. I'm sure I'll still follow Swansea and see as many games as I can. I'm still wearing my scarf (ty dillingaf, LOL).
I have been, and I am very critical towards the board, and hope to be proven wrong.
Being Danish doesn't make my opinions on football better or worse than others.

Yes I will also take interest in Laudrups next club...
Call me a groupie ;-)

This article was meant more in an apologetic manner , in the manner in which their icon was treated this last half year.I'm upset , one could only imagine how upset they are . I too look forward to following Laudrup's career from afar.

Agree with this. I hope Mikra and the others stay because they have been an entertaining presence on this Board.

I don't know if he has been treated badly to be honest. That's basically because I don't know anything about what went on behind closed doors. All I know is what I've read in the media which might or might not be true. I'm trying not to speculate now on what might or might not have gone on as tempting as it is. All I know from his public persona is that he is a very charming person and always seemed thoughtful, polite, respectful and diligent.

Laudrup managed the team that won us our first major cup and has given us some wonderful memories in Europe and in the pursuit of the Capital One Cup. I'm sad to see him go but the manner of our performances in the league since we won the cup has made his position difficult. However he remained gracious until the last. I have nothing but respect for him, I wish him luck for the future and now I just want to get behind Monk and the boys as that is what football fans do. We support our club not the manager or the player.

Also if our Danish posters do diminish then thanks for posting and being involved in an exciting part of our clubs history. There's no need for bitterness.

Laudrup's agent getting fired isn't up for debate , it happened . Huw going to the media and basically whinging about spending 12 miillion on Bony was"quoting " . Not being able to say farwell to players and such isn't hearsay .This was a blindsided sacking , thats a fact jack. Turning down big club advances to stay with us to make sure players stayed is pretty well a given . Laudrup was treated badly....

Thanks guys! I’ve always been treated well around here and have thoroughly enjoyed sharing your great moments both at home and abroad. Huw’s face hit the frontpage of the biggest Danish newspaper yesterday. He was quoted for saying that he “had nothing bad to say about Michael. He deserves respect for what he has done, and you won’t meet a more genuine and honest person anywhere.”
I’m sure they will work things out between them, so lets move on. From what I hear, you have an important game on today. It’s not that it means a lot to me. Cardiff my foot! I’d rather see you whacking the big clubs of the world as you have done lately, but I understand perfectly why you see it otherwise.
Oh, by the way, Cornelius made a hattrick for FC Copenhagen two days ago. I'm glad he isn't around to mess up things for you today.

I don't see why they should be upset. Do you get upset when Welsh managers overseas get the sack? I certainly don't.

Jeez, some of you are an emotional lot. I feel like buying a pack of tissues for you to wipe your eyes.

agree, met him once and what a nice guy, their bound to be feeling bit defensive ,they've had the bin dippers sending their £8.000.000 pound player back home ( although personally I'd be chuffed as he'll add quality to their league) and grumbling about their National hero .I've no angst to grind ,now if it wads the Koreans then thats a different subject <whistle>
