Woah back up there bruthas. I thought honours would be an important and massive part of our history? If we had won owt of course? Some of you seem to be saying that history isn't important. Shame on you.

Similar to comments about Cattermole going to Stoke, this TWS buy out is a marriage made in Mordor. I still hate L**ds, checking their result still gives me a giggle when we've lost, so yeah, we might not have won owt, but we're still better than TWS.

AS I said, honour and baubles are not the same thing. We have a longer history, but some fools seem to only want trinkets to be remembered.

Oh btw, I agree with the honour thing, the Hull Whites and others of that ilk make me want to throw up, but I mostly pity the fools. Playing like a bunch of thugs is not my thing either. I just don't get the dismissal of past trophies etc.

Using them to justify a view of a club in the "now" and claiming you're bigger than you are because of them is stupid of course, but you can't just dismiss them as worthless surely?

Exactly. I wasn't born until 77 so I missed our great side of the 60's and 70's. I was however lucky enough to see my team win the title in 92 and believe me, that does not feel worthless. It was an unbelievable feeling.

Most sets of fans won't have such a privilege, even more so these days.
