The ultra consistent DAWN TWISTER is a must bet at 5-1 today and I have to say the 28-1 about The Don's horse HARRISTOWN is bordering on insulting!
Ron there was a race you were looking to see today but you only have access to ATR, I use a site called tykestv.eu they have a wealth of links that include the racing channels
Good bet yesturday Ron. Dont know if your in France now but we lost all BBC in the night due to Astra2 satalite?? Can you still recieve it??? For me today, again poor value bu a double on 1.10 Mudita Moment and 1.50 Vaniteux
None of the names suggested thus far are lovely names for a filly. Hang your head in shame, pilgrims. I’d suggest SUNSHINE GIRL. Girl for obvious reasons and what else do you want at Midday other than Sunshine. Or alternatively, given who Frankel is named after BOBBY’S GIRL would be most apt. Lovely card at Donkers today and the one that I like is my old fave HARRY THE VIKING (3.00). Following the 2012 NH Chase at the Festival he looked on the cusp, I say cusp, of really big things but his form since reads –PP90P7 (cor blimey that’s a hard round on ‘Countdown’. However, his perch has collapsed as a result from 143 to 129. I liked him for the 2012 Scottish National (when favourite) and last terms Grand National but it was not to be but I must say, troops, off such a low rating today he does once again look most attractive. Although he’s part owned by that old rogue and rotter Alex ‘Fergie’ Ferguson I won’t hold that against the old boy, and rather like with Barbers Shop in the past, will turn a blind eye, during the race at any means, to his owners many indiscretions. Harry The Viking does look very well treated today, I think 6/1 is more than fair and hopefully he can oblige here before going onto contest some of the leading staying chases later in the campaign. Finally, the clash between Electrolyser and First Mohican (2.25) looks most intruging. However, I think those bookie chappies have the heat about right. Good luck, troops.
About 28 miles east of Jersey as the crow flies Mark. No problems here although we are getting some intermittent signal failures which correct themselves. The ATR racing yesterday was a little annoying at times
Battle of Marengo is an interesting one in the Desert this eve (5.40). Has his first run since leaving Mr O’Brien's barn. 9.5 furlongs looks a bit short for the old boy though plus he has to cart around the Dettori creature. What we all munched on for lunch, then??? I had a chicken salad baguette, a packet of hula hoops and a big banana all washed down with a bucket of water. Just 3/10 I’m afraid as the chicken was for some reason doused, not sprinkled with, in black pepper. In fact I’m off for another bucket of water right now...
Cheers Ron lets see if we can get some more cracker style going ( if I do the fat boy shuffle anymore I may have a cardic ) 2 posted today on link below but I would advise read the blog before making your choice , it is brief but the concerns are there . Sorry it's short today but highly busy. howards legacy abruzzi good luck all
Meal Deal from sainsburys- a Tuna Crunch baguette, pack of chilli doritos washed down with a bottle of Raspberry & Orange Tropicana- 6/10 for me.
Uncle, go into your control panel, under My Settings click General Settings, then under Thread Display Options, check the Show Signatures box.
Poached egg with rasher and rocket salad with some tomato chutney served on a bap washed down with plenty of water to compensate for the over use of white pepper! 8/10.
Seared lambs liver, pancetta and mash potatoes with a nice onion and mushroom gravy. One great thing about my new job!!!
