Typical of Rodgers, I remember when he put his first bid in for the migs it was pretty insulting to our club. Can't see Gus letting this happen.

Thanks Roy, we will take Borini off your hands but you won't be getting AJ in return.

Hang on, isn't this what's called 'tapping up a player' and against regulations?

What a ****er the man is ............. he's backing Laudrup's sacking, something you rarely, if ever, here managers saying.

Borini + 10 mill could be tempting. Johnson could go back to the player he was before for another year, and he would be useless to us. But if he keeps his head down and works hard he could stay vital to us. So it's catch 22.

But Adam Johnson wouldn't get in their side ahead of Raheem Sterling.

The Ethiopian Waterboy is already better than Ronaldinho don't you know?

Would be a dreadful move for Johnson but I bet it would tempt him.

Johnson has always been our most talented player he's just playing with confidence and the fans are getting behind him and he must feel unplayable at the minute. When he jinked past those mags and hit the post that was a little slice of Messi, the close control with both feet. Defenders knew they couldn't touch him.

Borini im afraid is a pickle for short and poyet. He's been good and is becoming increasingly important but would they shelved out the 10m or so in the summer to sign him outright? Scocco looks a very similar player and we've just spent 4m on him.

Then there's the enigma that is Giaccherini + Mavrias and Karlsson and Watmore returning from loans

Just step back a minute and read the OP title.

Doesn`t that tell Borini he`s not wanted or needed?

    I`m only saying.

Must be nice for Borini to see this, must fill him with confidence. Probably think fook off Liverpool and seek another club.

Is this just paper talk? You all seem quite wound up about something that could be made up nonsense?

If we offered larsson for Sturridge, would you not comment on that? Whether made up or not?

They paid £10m for Borini did they not?
We should give them that or they pay us £12m plus Fabio for Jonno.

I think Borini for Johnson would be a bad deal for Liverpool to be honest. Johnson was a total failure at City and is just another Stewart Downing.

:cheesy: Fair enough, I agree with Ruba. Johnson is playing well but it would be a risk to spend a lot on the lad. I'd take Borini back though I've always rated him. (Watched him a lot at Swansea)

Your point would be valid if downing is actually alive ATM? wtf is he doing? Is he still playing? Meanwhile Johnson is ripping new arseholes outta pl defenders and scoring for fun!

That's understandable from your point of view mate, I think it'd be a step back for the lad to join your lot. He ****ing loves playing for Gus and the fan's have been very patient with him & he appreciates that. Borini has expressed his desire to return but after big tooth's comments and a wembley final to look forward to things might change?
