A helping hand please... My brother and I are life long Sunderland sufferers, neither of us live anywhere near the North East so the question of getting a season ticket is simply out of the question. Clearly this throws up some serious issues in terms of getting hold of cup final tickets where season ticket holders (quite rightly) get to the front of the queue... What are peoples thoughts about getting tickets through the inter-net touts (just google Capital One Cup Final Tickets and there are a few of them all of whom say they have tickets available) - I totally understand that I will pay through the nose (£300 +) but if you divide it by the number of years it will be before we get back to Wembley its not too horrific (same logic as when the Mrs buys new shoes - "price per wear")...but 1. Is it "morally OK" (or am I taking tickets away from "real fans") - I have convinced myself it is as the tickets through those sites are only being given up by those who can`t be arsed to go and I class myself as as much of a Sunderland fan as anyone else regardless of whether I can get there every week or not; and 2. Has anyone used any of these/heard of anyone who has to get tickets - I am nervous as you send the cash and then wait with your fingers crossed - if I paid the cash and then didn`t get the tickets I would go off the scale mental So if you can all tell me that its OK and all the sites are sound I would be grateful...anyone?
Nowt to think about mate, no one said that ticket allocation is fair ........... there are 1000's of tickets that neither Mancs or Mackems will get so just buy them if you're sure of the site and have a good time.
What he said, the amount of tickets that go to corporate sponsors is a joke No longer about football, just business now
Some canny info here : http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/247058-Dodgy-websites?highlight=Dodgy websites
Give ya heed a shake man, chuck morality out of the window and get the tickets. occasions like this don't come round to often and has as been said by the other lads, ticket allocation isn't fair. The amount of tickets that go to ponces in suites and their posh girlfriends that couldn't even spell 'FOOTBALL' is unreal. Just get them and have a cracking day.
I'm in the same situation. Live hundreds of miles away from Sunderland. If an opportunity arises where I can get a ticket you can be damn sure I will be biting that hand off.
I wouldn't get tickets from any sites if I were you mate, unless it's StubHub or anything else of that sort, a recognised name. It would also be worth googling the websites name, making sure no one has been scammed from them and if you get little or no results by searching their name I wouldn't risk it
I am in the same position as safcyellowbelly, and had a similar moral issue regarding buying genuine SAFC tickets. However the tout sites are all selling corporate tickets or those handed out to clubs as ‘gift’ tickets so no problem. I have been through the dodgy websites thread and the final question is... has anybody had any direct experience with any of these sites? I didn’t see anyone saying that they have bought a ticket and actually received one, for this or any other game in the past. So the question again, has anyone any actual experience and can say at least one of those sites delivers? I am prepared to pay what’s required, after all it may never happen again in my lifetime (I was there in 73), with a ticket bought from a tout outside the ground! In the mean time if anybody is aware of a ticket available, please please let me know!
Rtg/smb lads seem to be buying them from here : https://clubwembley.wembleystadium....EventsCalendar%2f2014%2fCapital-One-Cup-Final

Have a read of the thread, they arent ****ing about, get in there lads http://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/club-wembley-who-else-is-in.873770/
You're not taking them from real fans at the touts. You're taking Wembley club, corporate and from other league clubs. Go for it if you fancy taking a risk
It's a national disgrace how all these tickets end up with what amounts to legalised touting agencies..
Issue you have is you are more than likely going to end up in a neutral section, in a Club Wembley seat or whatever. Means you may be surrounded by suits, or City fans, or just as easily a few of us. Did I not have a ticket, I'd do it in a blink, just do it lad.
ditto i think this is the only way you can guarantee a genuine ticket without the possibility of disappointment, because it looks like there will not be a general sale (that is what seems to be coming out of the club) quote from safc in the unlikely event that there is a phase 3 a further announcement will be made
I'm baffled by that though mate, we get 31,000 tickets I'm sure I read, so why no general sale? We haven't got anywhere near 31,000 season card holders. Probably the club selling them for £300 each to pay for Ki, haha.
Been on the phone to them and I nearly made his brain implode. I asked if every single card holder is guaranteed a ticket and you expect they'll be no phase 3 then the cup final allocation would have to identical to the amount of season card holders we have otherwise there will have to be an excess. He had no answer after stuttering. They'll be news from the club in the next few days regarding phase 3 in the event there are some available.
I have the same problem living and working darn sarf . I do have a plan for that weekend though. Me and No1 son are thinking about coming up to Sunlun , and If the club show the match on a big screen at the SOL we'll watch the final there. Weekend up home , decent beer , catch up with the family , and the match.
