    1st round of cup and we have Carlisle at home.

    This seems 1 year that we make break our cup hoodoo of not winning a single game for 3 years.

    My thoughts exactly. It'll be a nice change to crash out in the second round for a change!

    I have a good feeling about a cup run this year. Based on absolutely nothing, like, but a good feeling nonetheless....

    Liverpool away second round if we get through? Just the thought of Latics progressing through a cup competition to be in the same round as Liverpool, Aston Villa and the fake Latics seems an achievement.

    Come on boys, let's see Carlisle off!
