Yeah OK, I won't get excited about winning 3-0 away from home against a team in 8th How exactly did the win flatter us .......... I'm absolutely fascinated. What will the score in this disposal be, in your opinion?
Newcastles position is irrelevant as you well know, or as you would know if you were actually a Mackem...the fact you beat them is awesome for you, but you can't base the rest of the season on that result, much like Cardiff beating Swansea earlier in the season. The underdog occasionally has its day. You'll have to rephrase your 3rd line in English if you want a response, I'm not as fluent in bullshit as you are.
Yeah OK ................. anyway, you were going to tell me how the win flattered us. BTW, I didn't say anything about us basing our season on it, you did. It's three handy away points more than anything else, as I said before the match. You said you'd dispose of Sunderland, what do you think the score might be?
I'd suggest Smug isn't basing it on the derby win, but on the last 15 games. Anyway, down, Fulham, they are ****e, Cardiff, they are marginally less ****e & Norwich, they simply will not score goals. I see people referring to our away games v Liverpool, Chelsea & Arsenal. Our home fixtures include Hull, Palace, Cardiff, West Ham & Swansea. More than anyone, we have our destiny in our hands.
Aha, well done. Ok then. 1-3. Altidore is just bound to score, then some of ours will be able to moan about his celebration, regardless of what it is. It's written in the stars, a thousand times a day, as a poet once said. Long will score for us, twice, and Jelly will open his goal scoring account as well.
Fulham seem to have given up all hope after allowing Berbatov to go I'd say Cardiff, Norwich & Wet Spam as 2 of the others, but this season is so up & down it could be any 3 from 10th down! As long as we're not in it though in the last few games I'll be more than happy!
Little bit early to say yet but it will be very tight. If we can keep the goals down and snatch the odd win we could survive but will this be a forerunner for future seasons. I think Fulham have got relegation written all over them. West Ham will survive I believe whereas Norwich are another who look far from confident. Cardiff appear to have made some improvement but the next few games will find them out. We are precarious to say the least but the last few games we have not got our fair share of the 'run-of-the-ball' factor with by far the greater percentage of loose balls going to the opposition. This has to change and I wouldn't be surprised if it happened against Sunlun who can be very vulnerable at the back. The 'Toon' opened them up but couldn't finish. I do hope that Long and Jelavic can combine, that Brady can find his lost touch and match fitness and Aluko comes back with his old touch.
Fulham , Cardiff and Norwich with the latter potentially finishing bottom. I can't see Norwich getting more than 33 points.
3 more points for Sunderland all season, despite having picked up 10 from the last 4 games. You are kidding, right?
My 3 would be Fulham Cardiff Last one is too hard to call, could be anyone from 10th down, right now I'd say Norwich
No why would I be kidding? It's a prediction thing, partly influenced by what I hope results will be like of course. It's not a scientific analysis of stats and likely outcomes, was just gut feeling and wishful thinking. Oddly enough I don't have a crystal ball, and no I can't see into the future. It was my personal opinion on how the league *might* pan out, nothing more, nothing less. Fingers crossed eh?
The ball hits the post and bounces in/wide* during a very close game *delete as appropriate That's the sort of occurrence that will define relegation. I've noticed that Stoke have had some poor luck recently but then parity was restored last week-end v Man Utd. A massive deflection for their first goal, then an air-shot by Assaidi fell perfectly to Adam for the second. All the teams in the bottom half are very evenly matched - it really is perm any 3 from 11. As I said in the first sentence, the width of the post may end up being the deciding factor.....
Sunderland would be doomed but for the awful form of Fulham and Cardiff of late. With games against Man City - Arsenal and Liverpool (all away) after saturday the mackems are under much pressure to win on saturday. Lol.
Norwich, Cardiff, and Fulham, which seems to be the general consensus around here. On the other side of that coin, Hull stays up and we see our old friend Nigel next year.
