Erm..... thats what happens when you slag your boss off, Joey!

 

He's still missed a trick by not staying with that lass who won us the WAG league last season.

 

If I said the things about my boss Barton has said about his, I'd be sacked, end of. Pardew has made it clear that they have offered a contract to JB (in January, that's still on the table) and he should button it and sign if he really wants to stay here like he says he does. When no one else wanted him because he was a nut case we took a punt on him, paid him throughout a prison stay and nurtured him when he got back.

He's been a great player for us for about the past 18 months, but he's not a legend and more importantly, he's not the team, and on twitter he's sounding beyond too big for his boots. He's forgotten how lucky he is in my opinion. He either needs a sense of perspective (and to shut the twitter account), or I'm not interested in keeping someone who winds up the fans the way he has the last couple of months.

 

There's absolutely no chance that a champions league club will come in for him, not in this league anyway.

 

Wouldn't be surprised if Lille came in for him. What with everyone else taking all their players

 

My sentiments entirely. One good season out of a four year contract doesn't give you the right to start deciding the clubs tranfer strategy. Let the manager get on with it, cos joey, if you get a daft offer like Kevin Nolan did you'll be off like a shot too.
