Posted on the Liverpool board to get their thoughts, they expect him back, and crucially they want him back, for next season.

Fair play to the lad if he does go back like, CL football most likely and that.

I'm no Jozy hater and can see what he does for the team. Just think Borini is better.

It might well be that both we and Liverpool are in the same European competition next season.

I'd suggest Scocco is a natural finisher mate, whereas Borini isn't, and isn't likely to be.

I'd agree it's difficult to see how both can fit into the same side, and as Scocco is our player, it may well be that it's him that gets the game time, playing off big Jozy.

We need to see Scocco in the flesh before we make a decision, but yeah, I'm inclined to agree that he was signed to fill the Borini slot permanently, and I do think the lad will score goals, he looks a much more instinctive player than Fabio.

Although, as you say, we haven't seen Scocco in the flesh, I doubt his work rate is anywhere near the level of Borini's. Games against lesser teams that wouldn't be such an issue, other times it would be.

I'd like to see, against Hull at some point Scocco behind Altidore, especially if they're sitting back trying to counter/play for the draw

I think we will see that for sure mate, Scocco should be very fresh, Argentina is just coming to the end of it's pre-season and as such he should be in great shape, and fresh.

Might take him a few games to settle, but that Hull back 5 looks poor and flat, and a goal on his debut could be a massive boost for the lad.

Possibly, looks to me that Scocco likes to run with the ball so wide right might be his best slot, time will tell.

Look forward to seeing the lad.

Liverpool apparently gonna sign the Ukrainian winger they missed out on in the summer, that would increase our chances of landing Borini
