Don't let's get carried away! If these loanees keep us up .....great....but are ANY of them potential full time Salopians? It's currently just more of the same, 'plus ca change' as Nicholas Anelka would say!
It looks like he has a good pedigree but the question is why a left back and not a right back. Jacobson has been our best player this season so presumably if Mills plays he will fill the left wing back slot but (wait a minute) Mendez- Lang also plays there. It will be an interesting team announcement but it looks as if Schmeltz (who I think is with us all season) has already been frozen out and will presumably not even make the bench as we have six loan players now and only five can be in the match squad.
Its a farce!....you would think out of fifty loanees in the last two years, we might get one thats half good

Atajic looked the best loanee we've had since Turner came back, real intelligence and quality on the ball, involved in everything good we did. Clearly tired fairly quickly, but it's understandable given his lack of first-team action. Hopefully something that will come over the next few weeks. I'll say I'm glad we have him for the season. Also, didn't hear Jackson's comments but I understand he said something along the lines of Bradshaw being given time off to think about his position after being out the squad. Murmurs about him asking for an improved contract after scoring a couple, which Turner refused so he kicked up a fuss, and explains why he's not really been given a look in since being suddenly dropped. No idea of the validity of such claims, but it's a shame if true because I thought he had his head screwed on right.
Where did you hear that Lenny? I read somewhere else someone claiming jacko stating it in interview. Bit worrying that of two permanent strikers, one gets the boot and the other is not being played as his teddy is out of the pram.
