Which of the injured players should get straight back into the team when fit.

For me Whelpdale and Lee are 2 of the most expensive players yet we have played better with them out of the team, if they make the 18 who would you drop "Hess"

The other one is more contentious as it's Kedwell, clearly he is a fans favourite but would we be better if he was put straight back in to the starting 11. I think he should make the 18 and wait his turn until Bayo or Cody look like going of the boil.

    Kedwell..........23 starts 10 goals (5 penalties)
    McDonald.......19 starts 11 goals.
    Bayo.............. 9 starts 7 goals.

I know the argument about what Kedwell gives to the team but he is there as a striker, with our midfield being about the worst in the league for contributing goals can we afford not to play our best strike partnership.

None . cody and bayo link up much better than when Kedwell is playing. Kedwell on the bench on form. The other players only on the bench if others injured. Will expect Hessy to play either next tuesday or next saturday as he deserves to as he had been playing well.

Best thing, we have the option to play them or not :)

It would be nice to have a squad where some of the bench players are every bit as good (or better than) the starting 11. With everyone fit, we might just have that. Just the competition alone will make the 11 starters play better, or at least give more effort.

Trouble with Kedwell and Cody partnership is all too often they are too far apart. Kedwell runs everywhere and Cody cant follow him cos he would be out of position. When the ball is played up to Bayo, Cody knows exactly where to go and more often than not Bayo has the skill/brain to find him or knock down into his path. Not taking anything away from Kedwell though, him and the big man are just different players and thats how it is. Bayo is not going to play many 90 mins & in Kedwell we have a perfect 2nd option to come of the bench all while this current partnership is working.

I have to agree about not putting them straight back in, personally I like Lee and Whelpdale but when I think of my best eleven they aren't even close anymore which might be a worry for them when their contracts expire. Kedwell is a good player but looks like he cant really play effectively with a partner after not really having any real competition up front for the last two seasons (although Deon Burton came close). Bayo is bang in form and reading Micky Adams thoughts on the game afterwards it just shows what a weapon he really is at this level. Would be a shame to change what clearly seems to be a winning formula to cater to players that might not be as effective.
