West Ham............. FBS deserves to go down.
Crystal Palace........ although Pulis is a good manager, don't think he is as good as OGS (who has worked under SAF)
Fulham.................. can't see them getting out of it.

    oh they're all London clubs.
    whatta coincidence!

You say Cardiff will stay up because OGS played under SAF, but Fulham will go down with Meulensteen who coached under SAF?

We play 4 against the top seven. I can't recall how many exactly but three or four of our rivals have to play all seven. Obviously this means something only on paper, but I think the balance of probability suggests those who have half their remaining matches against top seven opposition will pick up fewer points. Above all we need to pick up points away from home as most of our more winnable home matches are behind us.

I sure thought Sunderland was going to go down but they seem to have turned it around enough to stay up.

Last summer on this board I said Swansea, Norwich and AN Other. At the time I was enthusiastically mocked , especially after Norwich spent so much, but I dont feel so daft now. I said they'd ditched everything that made them a success for fancy dan foreigners and I think this is the root of their struggles now.

I think they'll finish below us. And in that case I hope you're right.

Norwich and Fulham as both in freefall.
Other could realistically be any team from 10th downwards.
Hopefully we now have the firepower to pull us away from it.

    18th - Swansea
    19th - Cardiff
    20th - Fulham

Not so long ago I would have had Crystal Palace and Sunderland as dead certainties for the drop.

Palace will stay up. Just look at what Pulis has done with Palace so far and what he did with an average Stoke team.. He doesn't encourage attractive football but he knows how to get a team playing his way and that is ugly but efficient football that wins games.

Cant even see them slipping back into the relegation zone..

    Norwich/Hull
    Cardiff
    Fulham

Hate to put us in there but I am a little concerned due to our poor away form and difficult upcoming home games.

Palace have lost 10 of their 12 away games so their away form isn't great either. However, they are scratching out 1-0 home wins so they might stay clear. Don't think either West Ham or West Brom are safe

Easy to say when they're playing well. When they go on a poor run everyone will be saying they're doomed again. It's the way fickle football fans are.

Are you sure? No one in the bottom half is "too good to go down"
