Worth remembering that Cork had a bit of a shocker himself in his first start after Wanyama's injury. I'd bring him on at halftime owing to the yellow, though.

If he is laughing his head off then he cares more about himself than the team and we should sell him.

    He probably isn't though.

Pochettino has lost the plot dropping Cork. He's been great recently. Clyne also got dropped for no reason.

This ref is desperate to show a red.

Fulham targetting Lallana for quick close-downs, only once got away and his twist-turns not coming off thus far.

    Stop Lallana, stop Saints?

Wanyama looked okay to me. He shouldn't have been carded. He lost the ball once when it looked like Duff stepped directly on his Achilles.

Agree that Cork should come on just because of the yellow and Wanyama is probably not quite fit.

It's certainly not a bad strategy.

Lambert has been absolutely awful today as well. Why does he keep hitting hopeful balls instead of showing his usual composure?! So strange how his form has dropped. Maybe still not 100% fit.

I think it's unlikely he's lost the plot. Give Wanyama time. This game isn't going for him, but he'll come good.

I'm not sure what you are talking about with Clyne. Chambers has been very good lately.

This ref has averaged 4 yellow's per game this season. But, just the two red cards.

Not sure why Wanyama has been thrown straight in, it would have made more sense to ease him back with a few sub appearances before starting again.

Yoshida is the one looking a little sketchy to me. Not that he's made mistakes but he and Fonte don't seem to be on the same page.

Yeah, funny how he's not been 'fit' for the best part of 3 months.

It's depressing how much a shadow of his former self Rickie has looked.

Toss up between Schneiderlin and Wanyama to go off for me. Fonte and Yoshida playing well, but Boruc our MOTM so far. Everyone else substandard.

12 months. Fitness was the excuse in the second half of last season.

Same, he has had a long lay off it's obvious he wouldn't be match fit.

The contrast with Gallagher is striking. He had difficulty beating Arsenal's defenders (no shock there) but made himself available constantly, and to good effect. Rickie's either nowhere to be found or stapled to the side of a defender much of the time, though he did put in one very dangerous cross.
