Schneiderlin has just got Rodriguez booked by playing him short, had that been Wanyama who passed it, people would be going nuts
If you were saying it how it is, you'd also be pointing out the things he's done right. You're focussing purely on anything that he's done wrong. That's not "saying it how it is".
Totally agree. Maybe Morgan is the out of form player of the three atm? Obviously too early to tell. I just think it;s harsh Cork has been dropped.
I said during the week (all month in fact), that if one of Morgan and Cork had to make way for Wanyama, it would be Morgan for me. (Although personally, for me, it would generally be Davis making way, subject to the opposition and whether we're home or way).
Sure, but I don't get the general obsession with picking out everything he does wrong - something that isn't applied to any of our other players.
So how is the no Cork experiment going so far? Have to say our passing today is pretty awful. Schneiderlin and Wanyama look like strangers again.
It's about expectations, I guess. Wanyama, a big money high expectations signing, will be slated for anything he does but Cork, who came for little and had a very good year in the Championship to build up trust, isn't subject to such close examination. Same for Osvaldo, who some people criticised very readily, and you can now see the same people proclaiming Sam Gallagher as a stud based on the Arsenal game, even though it was no better than any Osvaldo performance.
