My Steam account says I've played 611 hours of Football Manager 2011. It is the best and worst thing ever to happen to me.
nothing better then football manager cant beat the thrill of watching a youngster blossom into a top class player, and the anger when nicola sells your star players without your permission as he did to me with lala, spiderman and chamberlain!
Well I know I shouldn't being an old git and all that, but I bought FM11 in October and it wouldn't load on my PC due to a "graphics" issue. I put it back in it's box and haven't touched it since. I used to be a big fan back in the 05 days. I'm going to try and load it on a different pc now I've seen this. If not, anyone want it?
I think it was called "Championship Manager" on the PC back 2001/2002. I remember me and my mate playing it 24 hours a day for the whole summer holidays. Good memories...
I am not doing well on FM at the moment. Thinking of starting again...with Saints. But I always buy a whole new team in and they never play that well.
Championship manager used to be great when they were produced by Sports Interactive, but then about 04 I think, they left and started Football Manager games which have now taken over as the new Championship Manager since about 05 ..... the championship manager games now are awful
Thanks for clearing that up SFCbw. I just remember playing it all the time back in the day, staying up all night and then looking out the window and its already morning. I think it was even before Rooney came on to the stage. I may have to invest in the new football manager over the weekend.
