Liverpool are hoping to cash in on the turmoil at Newcastle by bidding £22m for left-back Jose Enrique and midfielder Jonas Gutierrez.

All I really want to say (I don't care about the story, it's been said before) is I hate how any time we sell a player or just do ANYTHING in general, it's "Turmoil at Newcastle" or "Trouble in Toon."

Are we not allowed to sell players without it being a problem.

    Stupid journalists

We're struggling to buy players with the £35m we already have, why sell?

Although admittedly it's good money, we can't sell everyone lol

We could get N'Zog, another winger and a good left back for £22 mil. Would be hard to turn down

Then again, I don't think my heart could bear seeing Jonas wear a filthy bin dipper shirt

True, I would take it as long as we had replacements. However, we are selling one player, and its being made out that everyone will leave. I hope not, signing all these new players is a massive risk if you lose the current playing staff.

Just pure bull**** and this explains why :-

"Dalglish has also been looking to bring in a winger and has been linked with moves for Stewart Downing, Charles N’Zogbia and Juan Mata but could now look to bring in Jonas Gutierrez who has been a consistent performer at Newcastle United since his move from Mallorca to the club back in summer of 2008."

    why bother *writing this ****e*

had he wrote frustrating performer then I may of believed it

Why bother? We already have £35 million!

We shouldnt be considering selling anybody at the moment (apart from Smith)

Yeah this pisses me off. "Newcastle in turmoil" - we may sell 3-4 players this Summer and bring in 5-6 by the sounds of it. I read an article yesterday saying Dogleash will get rid of 7-8 players and have to do major rebuilding work on his team, Mackems likely to have to do something similar and yet we're the ones in turmoil?

I was just about to create a similar article!!!!

Livid fans and club in turmoil screaming out from the head lines.

**** OFF don't try and tell me how I should feel about this you bunch of useless pen monkeys!!!!

Fans are divided over it but the club is NOT in turmoil, after the January transfer window the board seem to havve learnt their lesson and are dealing in the transfer window nice and early
I'd rather Nolan went now rather than a week or 2 into the season, and he hasn't gone to a EPL team which makes it a little bit easier him leaving.

The "Newcastle in Turmoil" headlines are down to one person - Joey Barton and his loud mouth. Its his Tweets yesterday which has fuelled todays headlines. Seen it comming.

I like Joey but sometimes he just needs to shut his trap, fair enough if he has his opinion but he dragged Jose and Jonas into it as well.

Turmoil my backside we are doing what a most teams do selling players and bringing in new.

Ok Nolan going isnt going down well but he could have stayed and saw out his contract, but he's decided to move on.

Joey stay off twitter unless it's about racing.

Liverpool 22 mil for Jose and Jonas let's take it. Jose doesnt want to be at SJP and Jonas play'hot and cold.

Sorry but how are we struggling to sign players? its only the 1st offical week of the transfer window, alot of players are still on holiday, if you look around the league theres only really been about 10 transfers in total, we have already signed a french international, and players are reportedly lined up to sign soon (ie Ba), If this was the last week of the window and we had only signed one player then we are struggling, everyone seems to have jumped on the fact we have sold Nolan (a player no one had in there team for next season) and now its all doom and gloom,

£22m for Jonas and Jose, so £10m for Jose (last year of contract) £12m for Jonas....I would snap their dirty little paws off! Definately take it, we could get another player who was as good as Jonas for cheaper (although I do rate Jonas), also it gives Ferguson another shot. Plus with Enrique I can see him leaving anyways so £10m is a good price I think.

As I said before, snap their dirty little paws off!

If we start selling too many players who have kept us in the league we'll end up with the "f*cking second season syndrome" . I say yes to Enrique and no to Gutierrrrrrez ...

I beg to differ o its team which DONT change their teams in the second year which get second season syndrome. Bringing in new players may be the cure to second season syndrome
