We just need to let all the dust settle. Facts are: 1) GFH have no money or not enough to invest into a promotion capable team 2) We sacked a manager after a string of poor results and performances and he did spend some money and he did bring some players in - Could he have turned it around long term? We will never know 3) We kept hold of Ross 4) Proposed buyers pulled out and we don't have a big queue forming 5) We have been out of the top flight far too long, under Bates or GFH we will still be outside in another 10 years. 6) Its been a crazy night and more exciting than last year, for the right or wrong reasons we shall begin to find out.
Yeah must be it, they must have surely sold for a loss against that. Can't see them getting their initial money + £12-15m back from Cellino
Well we clearly couldn't carry on like that, Sport Capital and the Farnan consortium didn't have enough financial clout, in sweeps Cellino, gets rid of our incompetent manager, fends off bids for our star player...and everyone's ****ing moaning Glad the italian's got in, ruthless ****ers who won't take any ****. A great day all round
It's going to be an interesting one that's for sure! I'm angry about how Brian was sacked, underwhelmed at the prospective loan signings but interested to see if they're going to really put some money into the club.
You stupid ****ing twat. Go and support Cardiff or Hull if you're happy with this. Leeds United as I knew it is being pissed up the wall and some people are willing to bend over as always. Leeds used to mean something, now we're just the plaything of an Italian crook.
Bates was an English crook, GFH broke Arab spin artists promising the world delivering zero with plenty of Lies. No need to get personal and name calling because of a different opinion. I had better do the same then as I am genuinely excited, we sacked a manager who under performed, we kept Ross despite £6m offer and we get an owner with cash... Reality Check?
Interestingly lust published a report last year they had commissioned be some financial guy that showed club going forward would need such propping up. That was poo pood by many, some on here. Clearly gfhs months of due diligence was some ball of crap
Ristac made some valid points and has all along. However I would have wanted the whole situation to have been handled in more professional way whatever the rights and wrongs of the manager appointment. Forcing Festa into the club was the wrong thing to do, as was sacking him the day before an important game. Whatever Brian was, he was honourable and deserved more respect. Shame on LUFC.
Imagine how different the sentiment might have been this morning if Cellino was still in the exact same position with regards to ownership, hadn't sacked Brian (in a bid to at least allow him tomorrows game, maybe a couple more to work things out) and the main news that came out of Elland Road was that a £6m bid had been rejected for Ross McCormack?
Ristac ... fcuk right off!! Ross is no good to us now, he will be off on loan ... you are a muppet of the highest order, can't believe you can even attempt to defend this despicable behaviour ... this is what happens when you hang your hat on a peg way too soon, you paint yourself into a corner where you then need to step up and be able to say maybe you were wrong ... well, the least I would have expected is that you acknowledge that this is just plain wrong what Leeds have done to McD, its going to hurt us a lot and we will now have to pay the piper one way or another ... but no, you still actually find a way to try and justify this pathetic act ... fcuk you ristac, you have no soul Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
glory, regardless of what you've said about tory boy and so on, thank you for being a gentleman and recognising that what's happened to McD is just wrong ... I worry now because we could easily lose the rest of our matches ... our players don't need an excuse to fail Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Are all you lustys still happy that Fat Gary was quick to roll over and let Haigh tickle his balls. Do you now feel that the fans interests will be considered by the new owners? If not the answer to Q1 must be no. What are you doing about it? Is Gary going to resign yet?
Brian was a nice guy who loved the club, sad but the players let him down. But the way you just posted to ristac is totally out of order we are all Leeds with different views, who is right time will tell.
