Had a text from some strange fella telling me that this Kopo deal isn't going to happen. I really do not care though, we need a midfielder and a full back not a winger, better off waiting until the Summer and getting the players we need then.
That's the worse thing. No CL no Suarez. Will cost us millions. Ok we will get a good wedge for Suarez but then everyone will try and screw us over for any mediocre SOB! It really is pathetic that a club like ours is scrabbling round last minute to do a deal for a player of konos standing! It's nota as if it's messi or Ronaldo is it. kph.. rodgers is damned lucky at this stage to get a job like this and frankly... no other top 10 club would look at him. srry but they would not. oh maybe spurs might now they've got tim nice but dim running the show but seriously... rodgers would be taking a big step back cos nobody else would employ him at our level.... this is his big chance at the big time.
Getting a bit daft now, we have a good squad that is playing well, if we don't sign a winger that none of us have ever heard of then it really doesn't matter. As far a top 4 goes we're on track and I don't think this fella will make the difference between us getting 4th or not. I'd rather us use Ibe, give him games and valuable experience.

Wish everyone would calm down - we have had disastrous injuries and are 3 (effectively 4) points clear of 5th so why all of a sudden will there be a meltdown? Same people who gave us **** all chance of beating Everton the other night and look how that turned out. I still think we will sign kono and MAYBE have something else lined up that'll shock a few- but if we don't ****ing get over it!
Even if we finish 4th Suarez might still end up at Madrid. Also not like Kono is really the difference between CL or not. It'll be missing out on a midfielder and fullback that's more likely to hurt us.
This Said it before, not getting wound if we get this chap or not.. he's not we the fans deem we need NOW. Only issue maybe the way we conduction or dealings (I know it takes two to tango, in that the selling club want to make the deal), but another chap that doesn't end up at the club is becoming more of a coincidence? Maybe give Rodgers some help in the form of a FD with a pull in the footballing world? And keep Ayre to the commercial deals, on which he's doing a bloody good job!
