And what Sunderland have said. Why would Middlesbrough and Forest be after him if it wasn't possible?
If I was Sunderland I would agree and sign it off at 5 to 11 tomorrow night. Why would they try to do us a favour so we can strengthen - it's madness from their point of view, unless his value is plummeting and a run in the championship scoring goals again allows his stock/value to regain a little
It's obviously possible for Sunderland to recall him and loan him elsewhere, it's the bit about us being able to re-loan him out directly that I'm not convinced by.
Exactly this, at the moment he is worth bugger all, so it is in their interest to get his stock value up. One more loan signing is not going to affect our season too much, with Brady and Aluko coming back.
Indeed if you were Sunderland you would have grown as a port over the centuries, trading coal and salt. Ships have been built in you since the 14th century. By the 19th century you had grown to absorb Bishopwearmouth and Monkwearmouth. A person who is born or lives in you is sometimes colloquially known as a mackem.
Why do you bother? If in doubt: He is loaned from Slan, we have the obligation. We can find a deal to nullify our obligation but Slan must ratify it or we are stuck. A decent deal that puts Dolly-Daydream in the shop window will satisfy them - he makes not one penneth of difference to our chances now - unless he is a training ground suicide bomber. Like I said; why do you bother.
Craig, are you going through a rough time? Why are you waffling? Get back to talking ****e; you do okay at that!
What is of more value to Sunderland: get Graham's value up, or let us get him off our list so we can strengthen and make it harder for them to get away from the bottom. It all depends on who we loan John.
This is the answer. Sun'lan can recall him but they don't want him back so if we don't want him we have to sort out the next deal for him or else we are stuck with him. Although I assume if a Champ club comes in then they can do when the emergency loan window opens too!
FourFourTweet ‏@FourFourTweet Middlesbrough believe they have won the race to sign Danny Graham on loan for the rest of the season #Boro
Which is what I said; we find the deal (and finance it in someway - jointly with loan club) and as long as Slan happy, they tick the boxes and Graham is elsewhere. It is unlikely we would take a further loan as we would probably be paying a significant amount towards Graham' s wages; but . . . EDIT: Sorry, I might have misread yours and you were agreeing
How am I slow on the uptake? If he's loaned to Boro he's not at City, therefore we only have one loaned player at the club.
Ian Dennis ‏@Iandennisbbc Expecting it to be confirmed later, maybe quite close to the deadline, Danny Graham returning to Middlesbrough from Sunderland #DeadlineDay
