Deadline day rumour fest

Realised that, but what else do we have bar ridiculous rumour?! So far today there's been a dejected looking Pardew saying we'll strengthen in the Summer (hint hint!); I really thought we'd do a bit better than nothing today.

I don't actually mind Ben Arfa being given a chance as our number 10, I actually really like the idea. I also like the idea of Tiote/Anita being given an extended run in the team until the Summer. Let's be realistic as well, guys - it's 15 games. That's it. 15 games with Ben Arfa in for Cabaye, Marveaux as his backup and a brand new striker. To think it's the end of the World is stupid.

I'll be joining the negative side of the fence if this was Sky Sports Deadline Day August 31st 2014 and all we'd done is bring in a loan striker....

We run to a quote in the squad. Pardew will be allowed to replace exactly the same amount as leave the club. But they have to be first team and have played enough games. As in, if Gosling is gone, he won't be replaced, a youth member will be his replacement. It's the cynic in me that says he's only playing Obertan so that he gets to replace him with someone outside the club......
