As much as I would hate to see him go, we could reinvest the £25m we'd get for him in a couple solid signings in key positions (mainly a goalscorer and a CB). I can see Debuchy being next, allowing us to move Santon to the right and Haidara to be our starting LB. That would be a logical plan at least.
Yeah I read that. Any article that uses the word "supposedly" is usually a heap of bollocks. We signed an exciting but fairly unproven 20 year old on the cheap a year ago and have since given him 17 games, he's impressed and looks a big part of the club's plans, that we'd be trying to flog him is laughable.
