So people understand the tune (it'splayed when the players come onto the pitch) I would love it if we sang this. Beats the hell out of "you sign Whittingham, we sign Port Aux Chino" Let's get it going on against Stoke!
I had an idea for a Lovren chant, to the tune of 'Dayman' (for those who haven't seen It's Always Sunny in Philadelpha here is what it sounds like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0V784AiYtG8) Something along the lines of: "De-jan" (Ah-ah-ah) "Fighter of the front man" (Ah-ah-ah) "Champion at the back" (Ah-ah-ah) "You're a master of defending, and headers, for everyone." "De-jan" (Ah-ah-ah)
It's a hell of a song! I used to listen to my dad's Scared To Dance vinyl, eventually turned me into the punk I am today
I played bass in a punk band for a good few years. Now I have tinnitus and play ukulele in a folk band
I'll put it in my sig too if that's all right? I literally thought I was the only one who had seen IASIP. Great effort it works perfectly.
Rubbish at this but two songs that came into my head when drunk celebrating Saturdays win Sung by Bohemians fans last year for Luke Byrne (Didn't work as he joined arch rivals Shamrock Rovers To the tune of Achey Breaky Hearty Don't sell Luke Shaw, My Luk-ey luk-ey Shaw I just don't think you understand If you sell Luke Shaw,My Luk-ey luk-ey Shaw You're gonna have a riot on your hands Lallanas name fits well into plenty of songs although he has a couple already To the tune of Ghost town by the Specials Laaaaaaaaa, Lalala lallana Du du duuuuuuuu, du du du Laaaaaaaaa, Lalala lallana Aaaadam's gonna score And he's gonna come back for more Probably rubbish but I'd thought I'd share!
Oh dear, I have to agree. I don't want to sound damming, but if just 1% of all the suggestions from every thread about new songs actually came to fruition they'd all be worthwhile. Older fans will remember that ITV's Big Match couldn't introduce a new song for Arsenal supporters back in the 1970's because: 1] Nobody could agree whether it was any good or not [it was crap] 2] Even with the vast TV communication resources behind them, ITV couldn't organise sport [or supporters] any better than they do now 3] Arsenal supporters famously couldn't sing, which was why they had no songs There you go, this thread has made me smile at that old footballing memory.
