Goal music can **** right off! The support at the KC has been pretty good this season...mostly due to the name change issue though....I've even heard some good support in the notoriously quiet Lower West stand. The only away support to make some noise this season were (surprisingly) the Man U lot....
Wasn't referring to either mate, was referring to their supporters at full voice from start to end jumping up and down chanting in support of their team mate.
Does sold out actually mean over 25000 these days ? Are we getting less at sold out games now than the last time in the Premier League ?
I think capacity is 24,505. Not sure. I could have sworn it was 25,404.... I think capacity is 24,505...
For some reason, our sell outs this season are about 100 seats less than the last time we were in the Premier League.
Too many complain at standing up in E7 **** knows what would happen it we all started jumping up and all game. Even some posters on here would complain at not been able to watch the game.
Meh, point is if they don't like standing and supporting the team there are other areas of the stadium to sit in. I'm fairly certain the East Stand isn't the cheapest stand to sit in.
I think it is apart from the south stand which is now the family stand In most areas of the ground you will be asked to sit down either by stewards or other fans , generally they will let away fans stand though
Well it still comes back to my original point that Palace's home support puts ours to shame, and no I'm not talking about a drum or after-goal music for about the tenth time.
In other words rules aren't enforced consistently. Or other clubs don't have as many who are there to,spectate as opposed to support. Standing doesn't seem to cause a problem on other grounds. Maybe the best solution would be to make the South Stand the home section, as originally intended by AP, and if people want to sit as at a theatre they can remain in the East Stand, make the family section the area next to the away fans (though this will be tough on the stewards and police as they will look even more pathetic stood glaring at and filming parents and children whilst ignoring any ignoring of ground regulations by away fans). Maybe the we could concentrate the stewarding on the away fans like most other places, look at Villa last night, solid wall of stewards in front of West Brom fans none in front of Holte Lane End. Or Liverpool, where for their derby there were less stewards patrolling the Kop End than we have in front of E1. The stewards at the other end, which had less segregation than we need for the likes of Crystal Palace or Norwich were celebrating when Liverpool scored whereas ours seem to think a goal,is some sort of threat to law and order and rush along the front of the fans before retreating sheepishly back. Something needs to be done to improve things at the KC regarding atmosphere and the match day experience. Separating the City supporters and the PL spectators would be a start.
