think personally owners will take a gamble and hope we get top 4 with what we have. IF it pays off we should have some serious cash to invest in quality in the summer then as cl football will see them wanting to come here, oh and of course the thing all footballers hate, better wages!! we may still be looking for players, but given the type of players brendan has been linked to/targeting might end up a waste of money as not the area we need players for. if we are targeting players or hoping to bring someone in, i just hope we are targeting players who are cl standard, but wages may be the issue there. happy with what we have, only like to see us buy if it is quality, salah wasn't that was he?
didn't read anything on this thread IMO we buy any time we can and as many as we can. I believe there are at least 50 players across europe capable of improving us in LB and DM ie top 4 players potentially. Its about finding 2 that the 300k per week brigade are not going to snatch.
If given the choice between a quality LB and C/DM instead of Plankton, I'd opt for the LB and C/DM We have the likes of Suso and poss. Borini coming back next season so another attacker isn't a priority... is it?
