Hi guys, Norwich fan in peace.

Seems we will be getting De Laet on loan for the season subject to a medical..what are your thoughts on this kid? Would of much rather had J.Evans on loan but that was a bit of a dream to be fair.

Oh a side issue, seems De Gea's deal could be imminent and he is 'warming' to the idea:

Well whenever I've seen de Laet play for us, apart from that Fulham game season before this, he has thoroughly surprised me with how good he looks. For me, the best way of describing him is he is like O'Shea in terms of versitility but with more pace and ability on the ball. He was on loan at Preston I think last year so not sure how he performed but I believe if I remember correctly he was reserve player of the year in 2009. He really seems underrated and could possibly be O'Shea's direct replacement.

He was on loan to a couple of Championship clubs thro the season, including Portsmouth from January so I asked their views! They seem to really rate him at Championship level. If he has premier league potential Lambert will be able to draw it out of him, and we have a good training set up. If it goes through I think this should be a good signing for all concerned, as long as Fergie is happy for him not to be an automatic starter!

De Laet looks like a really good prospect, his performances have by and large been impressive for us. Hopefully he will get plenty of game time next season and prove he can cut it as week in week out in the Premiership.

As for Johnny Evans, there's no way he's gong out on loan. He's either staying out or being sold.
