He's taking us down for sure! Totally clueless as his squad selection and substitutions proved yet again!
Waddo, Must admit it isn't looking promising, unless there is a complete turn around in form we could go down the pan.
Nothing to do with form Jowler mate. Hughes is actually more cluless than Pulis and his substitutions in most games are mind boggling. With our up and coming fixtures we will be in the bottom 3 very shortly!
I disagree there mate no one is more clueless than the capped crusader, seems he's running him a close second though!
Its not that I am totally adverse to your way of thinking mate, its just that what alternative do we or did we have? I am shocked at what is happening and confused as to how many dubious reffing decissions are going against us.
We do seem to be having a lot of calls against us don't we? I believe our luck will change and as I've said before there are odd glimmers of better football but we're showing no confidence. Disappointed we didn't get a point tonight - from the commentary it sounded deserved.
I listened to the game on the radio and we sounded quite poor up until the goal and the we seemed to get more into and sounded the better more positive team from that point on. We forced a couple of saves and hit the woodwork, but I was confused with the subs especially as we were chasing the game. I was reasonably happy with the starting lineup, but I think we are really missing Huth and I think with the new players we have nothing to lose by dropping Crouch, Walters and the like and approachingf the game in a different manner.
I`m totally with you Waddo. His substitutions are as bad as Pulis`s were. Listening to him after the match,he thought we were easily the better team!!! The man`s delusional . He`s apparently trying to show Guidetti who`s boss? What? By keeping him on the bench at the cost to STOKE CITY? Were`re going down with this man and squad.and I don`t think it matters who we buy ( if we get anyone) it won`t make any difference. Why loan someone and then try and teach them a lesson. Who would want to come to a team that is destined to go down to the championship? I hope to God I have to eat these words!
Well said Smithers, we have some tricky games coming up where we will need to defend well but break much more quickly and support those breaks.
Waddo You know me by now, I won't give up hope until it's impossible for us.... that said, Smithers echoes my thoughts exactly. We're a man short (rightly or not) sounded like we play far better without N'Zonzi. But I agree Waddo, unless our RESULTS change and fast we're fooked. A positive spin on this is.. I also listened to the commentary and it seemed 2nd half we created at least 2/3 chances but it wasn't to be. I HOPE that eventually this PRICK we call our Manager will see the oh so obvious. That starting line up was nothing like I expected nor wanted. To bring Crouch off and then fling in decent crosses was suicidal, we needed a pt but he take our threat OFF? For Guidetti with FOUR mins left I'll keep the faith Waddo because right now I don't see anything else to cling on to. Who's betting against we have a right good GO at Utd, we should have done that tonight from the KO.
The shocking decisions going against us are born out of sheer frustration from the players. Lack of discipline springs to mind which again comes from lack of respect for those in charge. Loads of penalties given away and sending off of players. QPR fans did warn us just as Sunderland fans told us just how poor Jones could be!
Sure it is Waddo right now, I'm sure what to think. Apart from where we stand right now, Hughe's doesn't see that subs we're needed long before he made any. At half time? As for respect, if I was Guidetti I would fook right back to Citeh, he must be well hacked off.
Just seen the interview with MH on the bbc site, "I thought the lads were absolutely magnificent today..." As I said before, I only saw the last 20 minutes, and in that, yes, I thought they were. But it was YOU, Mr. Hughes that failed to make the appropriate changes that could have changed things.
Not looking to put any noses out of joint but your comments are right on the money. I couldn't see how anyone would employ him after he stuffed our club but history has a way of repeating itself.
Well now. Waddo I was and am of the opinion that Hughrd is a 'wrong un' Since my return I have restrained myself in starting any anti Hughes thread. So in agreeing with Waddo all I will add is: I TOLD YOU SO.
I feel ,sorry for the Stoke fans, who went there to watch that rubbish, if we do go down, I pray that we have a new manger, has Hughes has not got a clue.
What's the odds we play a blinder against Manu and still lose then have a damp squib against a team we could beat.
