Whilst we can't blame our league position in the fixture list, we have played most of the top teams twice already, still to play the likes of Carlisle and Crewe at home it does seem that the second half of our fixture list is easier than the first half on paper. Definitely some more games where we should pick up some points. Having said that, this February could be the defining point of our season with a few big matches.

If we assume that Wolves and Brentford are going up, then the hardest 2 games are out of the way. Home wins are essential to us moving up the table.
Welcome Shortie Saturday game IMO was always more important that the last 2. If we would of come out with a point from Wolves and Brentford we would of done remarkably well. 2 defeats is what we expected. We now have to set it straight and just beat Carlisle Saturday. Don't care if its 1-0 off of someones backside. 3 points is what we need. Drawing would be failure and losing will be 1 nail in the coffin... Important few games coming up now! Show us what you're made of City!
Welcome aboard the good ship Bristol City matey! Take great care in your selection of words because some on here do not like to read the word "defeat" but don't blame them because that's what being a supporter is all about especially when it comes to our lot. My comments, as usual, are said in jest, and again welcome aboard from your Canadian shipmate.
Welcome shortie! you sound positive!! welcome to my world, I said we would get something out of the wolves game, and Brentford!! well we did a bloody great hammering
Yes Shiny it is what we expected. But it is the manner of defeat that is really the problem. If either/both wolves and Brentford had taken us apart, then we had no cause to complain. But we have given away more cheap goals with stupid misplaced passes at the back and in midfield, plus another two own goals. What is Flint playing at? Has he never heard of putting it in row z? We gave away early goals in both games, got back level and then just capitulated as we always do! If we go down, I will have a serious decision to make. As I now live in Frome, next season do I follow the Robins (Frome Town) or go to Southampton occasionally to see some quality football in my last few years? I've given Bristol City sixty five years of my life and this is the worst I can ever remember!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't see myself going to see another team. I saw Man U v Villa once nice to watch but just didn't have any passion to who ever wins. IF and I mean IF we go down (I'm twitchy and the moment but don't think we will) I will be down at AG next season. At least we won't need to worry about the reduced capacity of the ground then so I suppose there is a positive to every negative.
excuse the intrusion, have come to commiserate with you and the gas, what a threesome we make. good luck on saturday. we "entertain" brentford at home!
