Pool will run out of steam, united will over take them and they will come 5th ... like us over the past 2 years...then Suarez will be off

Not likely. But it's a blankie to hug on this cold and bitter night.....

I love football....untill you realise it's almost completely predictable and finance based.....then I get pissed off with it again.

We've missed our chance at top 4, Liverpool are much more effective than us and have the momentum.

Plus they kept hold of their world class player

Yep. Unless you can spend hundreds of millions you cannot buy established top, top players. You have to hope that you fluke your way to buying one or two before they're established then hang on to them as long as you can. We didn't, Liverpool did. Arsenal have the same problem but Wenger just keeps uncovering more gems every season.

why are city being so ****ing arsey?????
THEY got the pen, the red card in their favour and an offside in their favour and they hoof the ball away cos a nothing free kick on half way goes our way???????????

yet we're currently in a transfer window, with a couple of areas of the squad that need addressing and there's no sign of anyone coming in.

Because they'd probably argue the squad is too big already and that the evidence of our team's lack of gel (still) means we shouldn't bring more in.

4-1. That was poor by Walker. He was always going to cut back in and it got a lucky deflection, too. Balls.

with a goal difference of 0, i think it's clear we need 1 or 2. whether that's someone defensive, or an attacker who's going to score some goals.

Holtby on for Eriksen. Er, ok. Is this Sherwood trying to get those two players to stay or showing them the door's not shut or something?

The whole frontline tonight has been abysmal.

In fact, I think the only 1 who can really walk off with some pride is Lloris - and that's pushing it.

not a dig mate...just an honest opinion....great season so far but only 3 points ahead of us and just 6 ahead of united...just think you need a bigger cushion

well in all fairness it's 4 and 7 that you need to make up to go ahead of us, no chance to make up GD tbh
