I didn't see the game live, admittedly.

BUT after watching Sky's hour long highlights this afternoon we were by far the better team, created the better chances and had much more
    possession.

After reading some of the posts in here last night I was expecting a horror show - not the case by far.

It makes me wonder if some fans actually watch the game or just take up a default position that if we lose we must have played ****e.

    Anywhere to watch this online?

I agree, I was surprised to see so many labelling us as ****e, we were fine, we just couldn't break them down as Davies said after the match.

I watched it on Sky's match choice catch-up.

You can watch it online on Sky Go if you have a subscription.....

in retrospect, we had more possession but we didn't do much with it.
Elmo fizzed a couple of crosses across the face of goal but Long and Jelavic didn't expect it to come through to them, so they didn't bother going for it.

We had possession but hardly ever got behind the palace defence. Loads of decent play that led to nothing but a punt up field from the keeper.
I though Meyer lost possession to easily. I felt the new attacking pairing looked a little lost at time. Bruce wanted them to be further up the pitch. Lets face it they have not worked as a unit before.

I was at the game and we thoroughly deserved to win in terms of possession and play. We had over 60% possession, away, in the Premier League, I never thought I'd see the day. But the only statistic that counts is the score and that's where we fell down. Hopefully the lads can get out of this blip and really turn it on against spurs!

You can have as much possession as you like but you have to do something with it.

    Exactly.

Sometimes theres just a feeling your not going to score. Thats how i felt watching the strea,m last night. Just watching the extended highlights now.

To be honest i would have stuck big Abdi up front last ten minutes, we were lumping it anyway at least he would have been a target.

My disappointment was you are playing a Tony Pulis side you had better be prepared to battle, I dont think we outbattled them.

I was at the game too. The first half was terrible, although we had over 60% of the possession it felt like we couldn't string two passes together. I had a feeling that if Palace went one nil up we'd not get back in to it, that said, Livermore had what looked like a golden opportunity when the ball broke to him about 12 yards out just after half time. Story of our season! Thought the subs were mostly spot on but would probably have brought Sagbo on for Jelavic.

I think all the frustration is because of the incessant aimless hoofing, to players marked by targets they'd never beat in the air.

Chazz is right, big Faye could have made a difference, Fryatt was a hopeless substitution in the circumstances, he should of been on way sooner.

Just watched the Macgregor incident again. ****ing disgraceful challenge on Mac in the first instance. I wish he had have actually retaliated instead of just brushing him with his leg. Stupid thing to do but he had lost it a bit. He's always seemed really calm does he have a history of losing his head under pressure??

My other gripe is just prior to that challenge it was a 50/50 with Elmo and O'Keefe. O'Keefe goes right through it. Weak as Elmo. Would a Gordon nisbet or Charlie Palmer have done that? No ****ing way.

Is there footage of the penalty shouts anywhere? All I can find is the goal and the sending off.

We all know Elmo isn't much of a defender.

Pulis got his tactics right for the type of game.

I agree but surely SB knew how they would play, we all did, our players just did not match them for physicality and you have to do that. Not one City player booked. The ref was weak we should have clattered them. Think of Gareth Barry against us. Thats what Jake and Hudd lack.

my mate said he listened on 'Umbersard and said Hull City got battered according to David Burns B.A. (Hons) and Peter Swann. Others have watched the highlights and say that Hull City were unlucky? Some body got it wrong?

Since we shovelled 6 past a hapless Fulham side (remember calls for 1, no make that 2, representatives from us in Woy's World Cup Wonderkids?) in a single half we haven't scored a league goal in 8 further halves of football. That's the point. You can argue that we battered Palace last night if you want to. You can bemoan a late goal against Norwich to rob us of a well earned point. Say that we couldn't expect too much against Liverpool and Chelsea. Fine. Spout away. The truth is simple. 4 games. No goals. No points. This form, unless addressed, will end in relegation.

We need an Ian Ashbee figure in the team. And it wouldn't be a bad shout to get him back at the club in some capacity. The club desperately needs a figurehead, someone of status, prestige, pride, and 100% Hull City and they don't come any better then Ash.
The way he was discarded after nine and half years as captain of the club in every division, a feat that will never be beaten, and to be farmed out to Preston against his will was a disgrace and those responsible should be ashamed of themselves.
Why wasn't he allowed a testimonial? Why isn't he honoured at the KC today? Why isn't he a part of the club today ?
Instead of trying to spin a 60/40 vote against the name change by its members who bothered to take part in a free vote into sounding like a resounding vote in favour of the ridiculous Hull Tigers name the OSC should be on this case. Do any of them know who Ian Ashbee is ?
