    Cabaye.

Well sounds like their best player is on his way. (The cowardly snidey little thug. )
He finally got his wish to get out of their ****hole.
The daft sods forgave him for trying to weedle out of the Toon and now he has left them with a huge hole to fill in their team.

But hey they still have the black Messi in Tiote.
You know the guy I mean, so hard he throws himself to the ground to prove the landing didn't hurt at all.(Well the landing may have hurt a bit, going by his rolling about blubbing like a bairn. )

Now who is going to put money on them claiming they aren't bothered about him leaving and they wish him well?

They will. But still use it as an excuse if we beat them.

Gutted he's gone but knew it was coming.

Can only hope we replace him.

As for us forgiving him, yes he refused to play. You lads now worship bardsley and he laughed at your club when you lost a game. All football fans are fickle mate, not just newcastle fans.

Those honest lads up the road wouldn't do that would they?
That would be like admitting they were a one man team. :p

Of course we're bothered about him leaving, you'd be a fool not to be as he's a class player.

However, football is a business nowadays and everyone is available at a price. If the money is enough then it can still be a good deal for the club it just depends on who we get in and when. Realistically our season is over so we're not exactly troubled by it at the moment but it would be much better for next season if a replacement comes in now rather than in the summer so they can get acclimatised to the league - these frenchies seem to take a few months before they put in a performance.

To clarify, if we can use the money to good effect then I'm not concerned about us (bothered yes as I'd like to have seen him keep playing for us) and of course I'm going to wish him luck in future. Why wouldn't I?

For as much as you wish to poke the fun there will also be a proliferation of Sunderland fans suddenly deciding he was our only good player and the sole reason we aren't in the relegation zone. It works both ways :)

Can only go on past windows so doubt it fella. I do think we'll replace him but most likely in the summer. I think we may get Luuk De Jong in this window on loan but other than that I'm not too confident.

Can only hope. It would be nice to get a replacement in this window to appease the fans and keep morale up in the squad. However in reality it makes no difference. We'll finish no higher than 8th and now lower than 10th regardless so the derby aside it's almost the perfect time for him to go.

Bardsley NEVER wanted to leave SAFC though and it was only through the actions of the ****wit manager at the time he was ostracised. Bardsley NEVER laughed at SAFC he laughed at the ****wit for losing the opening game of the season. Bardsley is delighted to be back in a team he NEVER wanted to leave at anytime.

Cabaye the dirty thug has been plotting this departure for at least 8 or 9 months (if not longer).

He's going to be tough to replace, glad to see him go for a few reasons. Good player but struck me as a bit of a **** so he was well suited to Newcastle.

They do need a more than decent replacement as they're often pretty crap without him so I guess they're hoping the cash doesn't go straight into the fat back pocket of Mike Ashley.

    Quality player but not irreplaceable.

Sissokho is a ****ing decent player and has never shown his best, maybe he will step up now.

Not remotely similar to Cabaye, but a slight tweak in tactics & use the lad right & they don't need a replacement.

What happened to Anita, by the way? Liked him at Ajax and he seemed to be finding his feet about a year ago, ha.

Tends to be an expensive window like so would make sense to wait.

Opinions mate. But putting your points in capital letters does not make them more valid.

Cabaye refused to play and it was wrong, since then he's been amongst the best in the league. Bardsley laughed at you losing a game. Yes Di Canio was in charge, but if it was aimed purely at PDC would he not haved named him in his tweet???

Both players were wrong, but have come back strong for their clubs. My point still stands, all football fans are fickle.

I don't worship Bardsley but I have always thought he is a hard working pro.
He didn't laugh at our club, he made a daft remark on ****ter about a single game where he wasn't involved because of ongoing problems with the manager.
That I can forgive him for, if he had refused to play then made a daft crack there's no way I would forgive him.

Just like when Bent wanted to go to a "bigger" club after we had lifted him off Spurs subs bench.
There's no way I would ever forgive the twat.
Some on here would have had him back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be interesting to see how much casino money Ashley gets for Cabaye.

Nice little spanner thrown in the works, hopefully cause a bit of dressing room turmoil just at the right time, mind he was ****e in the last few games we played them so maybe not make that much of a difference. This has been on the cards forever so why didn't they get it done at the start of the window and give themselves enough time to get s replacement.

I'm not denying fans are fickle about a range of things but I put the NEVER into capitals to help you out in understanding the huge difference between Cabaye and Bardsley. It DIDNT work obviously.

Bardsley was happy here until the ****wit decided otherwise and treated the player appallingly, banishing him to the youth team and playing his football at Hetton Welfare on a Tuesday night. He publically humiliated and taunted him and when he lost his first game it must have been a very sweet moment for the player. I know I would have reacted exactly the same.

Cabaye has manouvered via his agent this move since the end of last season. Totally different cases.

Does that help you without the capitals?

You weren't saying that at the time though. You were arguing for more of the same (see thread I've just bumped).
