This makes perfect sense to me. I also think that the reason we don't do too much business before the last few days (like many other clubs) is that most of the targeted players / selling clubs have options and try to wring every last drop out of those competing for the player's services. Once a club expresses an interest the selling club/agents go into overdrive and tell other clubs "Hey, QPR want so-and-so, are you interested?" Some of the players will not have been on anyone else's radar until then.
Auxerre tv (local media) says the owner of your club will be in Auxerre tonight to see the game. Our president have 4 bids for Ntep. It seems that he should choose tomorrow. Here, everyone thinks he will go to QPR. We'll see tomorrow.
I do hope we sign the lad now....otherwise over 200 posts about him seems a little bit excessive PS Thanks for your valuable insight BKR, very much appreciated...and If we do sign him, consider yourself an R.
Nice one Eamon. Before people line up to have a pop at Beard, think how many players he has moved in and out, at various managers' request, over the last couple of years. And now that we take contracts seriously, I'm happy to lose a few if they don't sit within whatever framework we are working to. Ringo is currently a French Second Division player in a team sitting 13th out of 20 in the table. While I think it is crap, plenty on here believe the Championship is the strongest second league in the world, so it should still be a step up for him. Does seem like Hoilett has given up on himself, and we have given up on him though. You don't come to QPR to develop as a player......
Ok, so, Tony Fernandes, Malaysian and Emmanuel Limido (Auxerre owner) have met in Auxerre, visited infrastructure. Fernandes gonna see the game with our president (Guy cotret). There is a video of our president, he says QPR rised their bid for Ntep, president had even used the word "finalize". Tomorrow morning, president will announce the future club of Ntep.

Thank you BKR. Whether this deal goes through (which I hope) or not, your knowledge and insight has been very much appreciated.
You're welcome. I hope he will play for you. Last game for him with us tonight, he will make a big game
Does that mean you will be on our board more often mate ??? You will be made more than welcome for sure
Do you think he can be good enough for the premiership next year (should we go up)? This all seems so strange that we could buy Ntep to provide the firepower to claim promotion but the board chooses not to increase their offer by £1M. If the board is not sure he isn't going to cut it at premiership level then why the hell are we looking at him in the first place, if we think he will make the step up then his price will increase by over £1m any way. I got this horrible feeling that TF has been listening to Harry too much and is now convinced Bobby will be our saviour
I think QPR is very interested by Ntep, they came in Auxerre (well, ok, London-Auxerre is not too far) but they came anyway. Maybe they will rise their bid just after the game, I don't know, but Ntep wants to go in QPR, so that's a very important point. To be honest, yes, he has the level to play well in Premier League, he's by far the best in French league 2, one of the best in France U21, he had "destroyed" defense in French cup against first division clubs. 7 goals in 10 games with France U21 and played winger. EDIT : So..well..Ntep will not play tonight I think this is for not risking an injury before his transfer..
4 of our next 5 games after tomorrow will be televised so there will be plenty of chances to see him online. him not playing tonight leads me to think that the transfer is even closer as they don't want to risk an injury.
Sounds to me as though we're getting him. I know DT isn't impressed, but I am. He looks a hell of a prospect!!
