    David N'goals!

14 goals in 81 games for Bolton is pretty ****, Swansea surely have a better striker in their youth team?

Eder is about as good as anyone we have, maybe a tad better. I'm not sure if that warrants signing him on a transfer, but he's not chopped liver either.

I guess I would like Saints to think bigger, but realistically we probably can't just sign 4 WC-ish players. There are maybe 4-5 signings needed in the winter/summer (depending on who goes), so we will probably have to settle for 2-3 Eder-type players, and maybe only 1 big bucks "Wow!" type signings.

Loan Osvaldo to Inter with a right to buy and get Icardi on loan.

I think Eder would be a good signing, he may not be the big signing most would be hoping for but I think he would fit into our style of play comfortably. He is having a great season with Sampdoria as he comes into the prime years of his career. He's a willing runner, has great technique, can play up top, behind the striker, or in the wide attacking positions, he's creative and has an eye for goal.

I can think of players I'd rather sign but would not be disappointed if we were to bring him in.

There's nothing more exciting than signing a striker is there? I know, I'm a cheap date like that.

    David Ngog?
    Get a cheap solid striker?

Aren't many players who can start shooting a .5 goals a game record from day 1 in a new league.

Suarez started his Liverpool career with a similar goal average to Osvaldo.

I was thinking about this the other day. It may just be me remembering the 1 season wonders so could be completely wrong, but I think most of the established top strikers in the PL atm who came from abroad had a pretty average first season. Whereas you have players like Cisse, Jelavic, Benteke to a certain extent who set the league alight and then faded into average/poor strikers.

Osvaldo hasn't had chance to adapt. Be it from suspension or injury.
