You have to feel sorry for the lad and I doubt any Redman would have wished that on him. IT LOOKS LIKE THIS DERBY IS GOING TO BE THE BATTLE OF THE WALKING WOUNDED AND THOSE THAT ARE LEFT!

    **** it's proper nasty :(

Never wish that on any player but at least these boys get the best medical treatment money can buy. Feel for the lad though especially having come in and impressed.

Where in his post does he deny that our players do it?
Many on here have been highly critical of Shrtel in particular for this. I think Astro's just pointing out that for you to single out our players could be seen as a bit.....well, hypocritical?

Sad to see that injury to Oviedo, hope he makes a good recovery.

Where In any of my posts have I said Astro has denied that they do It?

I am well aware all players do It? I am also well aware that some players do It a hell of a lot more than others and so are the many pundits that have commented on Skirts In particular some of whom are ex LFC players<doh>

I commented on It as EVERY set piece today Skirts and Sissy clambered grappled Bear hugged and pulled the Bournemouth players about like It was a wrestling match<whistle>

When the Everton defence don't pull shirts or wrestle with opponents then you may have a basis for complaining. As they do pull and wrestle its a question of pot and kettle.

I think our problem is that we're missing players in crucial positions that will exacerbate us missing players in other positions.

That is - Lucas and Allen missing will greatly enhance the effect of Johnson, Sakho, Agger and Enrique being out.

Coleman and Barkley are big players for Everton however. Sort of hope they're out, Barkley in particular.

Could be looking at players starting out-of-position, youth/academy products on the bench. Exciting times for local lads in the background.

we could see Kelly at RB and Flanno at LB flanking Toure and Gerrard in defence (if Skrtel can't be patched up in time). Midfield marshalled by Henderson, with Pelosi and Luis Alberto supporting him, Studge leading the line with Sterling and Suarez in support - seriously flaky and lacking experience in the central area, but we're going to have to trust to some lads playing here, so why not Pelosi and Alberto in a deep lying creative spot?

It does show the injury crisis for what it is - some of our lads out on loan would be getting games now... - Suso, Coady, Robinson, Wisdom - but they couldn't hang around just in case. Surprised that Ilori was allowed to go out to Granada given the possibility of lacking cover at CB...

  20. Flanno at RB and Cissokho at LB means Kelly can play CB leaving Gerrard in the middle. As much as you or I don't rate Aly, he's going to play!
